Number one, McCain should have told his staff he would have none of this. Instead these folks are popping off at will.

Rush pointed out today that the McCain team has already attacked Palin more in two days than they did Obama and company all year.

And there you have it folks, why some of us didn’t want this ass to represent us on November 4th.

If McCain and Company and the Republican leadership think they are going to marginalize Palin so she will never be able to run again, they are in for a surprise.

And please, don’t even think of coming to me with the “McCain isn’t a part of this” defense. He either has control of his campaign staff, or he was far less capable of command than we thought he was.

After this much time has passed, I don't see any other conclusion than McCain is behind it. As a naval officer, he should be more of a gentleman than that.

Of course (I know I said I wouldn't watch -- gee, I can't help myself) BOR is going to squeeze the "controversy" over Cameron's report for all its worth. In fact, it is the subject of talking points. BOR defends the reporting because it is real news. At the same time he says he doesn't like anonymous sources and has offered 30 minutes to Gov. Palin. Slimey. They felt the heat and are trying to have it both ways. WeI don't like anonymous sources, but we're going to go with it because it is news.

Laura Ingraham is slamming the report. Bill defends Cameron's report, but at the same time says he does not give it credence. I don't think that is journalistic integrity. Sounds like spin to me.

Basically, Bill is extorting an appearance from Palin on his show to rebut the smear the promoted.
