What I do know is that I do not know her personally. I must therefore take everything at face value and not just launch into a knee-jerk reaction vis-a-vis Carl Cameron is trying to destroy her or Mitt Romney is trying to destroy her, etc.

I like Sarah Palin, but I am not stupid or blindly loyal to the point that I will not openly and honestly examine what is said about her.

I also know that her performance during the debate, which was not "sliced and diced," was less than stellar in the knowledge she evinced. She was evasive in some of her answers and that disturbed me as it was happening.

I also know that she had more qualifications than the top of the Democrat ticket. That alone however does not make her automatically a REpublican messiah. She must prove her bona fides. There are legitimate questions to be asked and shouting them down because they are uncomfortable doesn't make them any less valid.

I will adopt a wait and see attitude. If these stories are fabricated, we will find out in due time.

I believe in finding out the facts, not in shooting the messenger simply because I don't like the message.

I don’t agree. The press attached caricatures to Dan Quayle and Ronald Reagan that could never be erased, despite books and beautiful eulogies. To this day everyone thinks Dan Quayle was a doofus and Ronald Reagan an uncaring lout who took three-hour naps every day. The media is a perpetual smear machine to any conservative, and especially self-made ones who really believe in our principles, like Sarah. The truth about Sarah Palin will NEVER come out if you wait for the LSM. Never. She’s too big a threat to them.

What's funny...is what I think you are saying...is you don't think Palin is a polished politician. Biden is a fairly polished politician..and during the debate...he lied his ass off...but did in a very sure of himself polished way.

Frankly...I want "REAL" people that are smart, and deliberate...and don't just just flapping their gums on things they don't know about.

I actually think you have maybe succumbed to some of the anti-Palin propaganda..out there.

This much I will maybe agree with you on....I don't think she is "our hope" in 2012. That being said....she was a breath of fresh air...from the normal politician that is shoved down our throats.
