Jindal is sharp as a tack. He is prob. our best bet in 2012 at this point.
Bobby Jindal has about as much chance of getting elected president in 2012 as Mitt Romney, i.e. NONE. The sooner folks realize that, the better!
I hate to take issue but...what has Jindal done? How is he any better than Palin? Do you think the MSM wouldn’t rake him over the coals because New Orleans is still a mess (9th ward)? While I think Bobby Jindal could be the future of the party, he is no more a “heavyweight” than Obamma was when he started his quest for the Presidency (I’m not dissing Bobby.)
Look, I’m mad as hell over the turn of events, but unless and until we remove the RINO’s that are currently making the decisions at the RNC, we will continue to be on the outside looking in.
Let’s look at a couple of things.
Barney Frank was sexually involved with the former head of Freddie Mac while a member of the oversight committee. Did we do anything? No.
Robert Wexler represents a district in Florida and lives full time in Maryland. He uses his in-laws address for political cover. Did we push the issue and make him resign? No.
The Republican party and John McCain (and I do thank him for his service) have become the Chamberlain’s of the political scene. Their motto: Let’s not make any waves.
The Dems, lie, cheat, steal, and do it to your face and we do nothing. We are “victims.” Well frankly, I’m tired of this crap. I refuse to back a party or a candidate that “reaches across the aisle in bi-partisan spirit.” I want a candidate to reach across the aisle and knock the snot out of the opposition.
If ACORN has violated the provisions of it’s tax-exempt status, WE go to Justice and demand an investigation. If nothing happens, we scream louder. Let the American people know that THEY are being disenfranchised when voter fraud occurs.
Make motor-voter a thing of the past. Most Americans still favor fair play. They may joke about the dead voting, but deep down inside they don’t want it to happen. It’s time we take a page out of the Dems playbook and get tough. We scream long and loud until they cannot ignore it.
John McCain said as President he would veto any pork-laden bill that crossed his desk and “name names.” OK John, you aren’t the President; you can’t veto the bill; but you can still name names. DO IT. Show us you mean it. This goes for everyone in Congress. The RNC needs us to support the candidates. It’s time we tell them that we will no longer support RINO’s and weak-kneed Republicans. We’re mad as hell and we’re not going to take it anymore.
As for the media, if ABC, NBC, CBS,and FOX want to get into bed with the Dems, let them. From now on, we snub them. Hey, need a Republican Senator on “Meet the Press”, sorry, busy that weekend. Carl Cameron asks a question, Sorry can’t hear you. There are enough alternative forms of media where we can get our message out.
Until we start asserting ourselves, the Dems are going to walk all over us. It may take some time and we may be a minority party for a while, but I am a CONSERVATIVE FIRST and a Republican second.
