the media has us doing exactly what they want us to do...fighting among ourselves, knocking our former candidates (Romney, Huckabee, Guiliani). This is what we Republicans do best, right? We hear these things “thru” media reporters and believe it to be gospel! Let’s wait until we hear it directly from the accusers, ya know, like when pigs fly!

As I best remember, John McCain got the lion's share of media coverage when he was in the back of the pack. The MSN sensed him as the weaker candidate and kept up coverage. Lo and behold, John gets nominated.

The media support goes South.

I have to hand it to McCain. He put a major scare into them when he brought out Sara Palin, so they brought out the long knives and dealt with her shamelessly.

I believe McCain had plenty of mistrust of the media, but I don't think he thought they would react to Sara the way they did.
