"...amazing how every Dem can see it but our own folks can’t..."

And Karl Rove is on O'Reilly now saying that the public doesn't want us (Republicans) to be nasty to the new President. It won't go over well.

Will these a-holes ever get it? It doesn't matter how nice you are to the other side, or how many times you roll over for them, you're still going to be labeled partisan and nasty by the Dems and the media. It's the only mantra they know.

Dick Morris on O’Reilly now, not being very kind to Emanuel. Basically saying he isn’t loyal, and is more interested in his own success than the success of the President he serves.

J.D. Hayworth just read my letter on KFYI (Phoenix, AZ). I pointed out that the AP neglected to mention that Emanuel had been on the board of Freddie Mac. Instead, they said he had “turned to investment banking”.

I would be inclined to agree about the public financing, but what I haven’t seen is any evidence of whether McCain would have been able to raise that much more without accepting public funds...is that just a given?

July 2000 Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General report entitled “An Investigation of the Immigration and Naturalization Service’s Citizenship USA Initiative.”

The report was an indictment not only of Clinton White House interference in the Immigration and Naturalization process, but also of White House interference in the INS’s Citizenship USA (CUSA) initiative of 1996.

According to the report, “Director of Special Projects Rahm Emanuel often attended these meetings. According to witnesses at INS and the Department of Justice, Emanuel was increasingly responsible at the White House for issues involving the Department of Justice.” The report added that Emanuel’s interest in DOJ was “enforcement” issues.

“This report lays out in stark details exactly what Emanuel and the rest of the Democrats are trying to do with immigration reform, and President Bush and Sen. John McCain are playing right into their hands,” says a Republican House member, who does not support the President’s position. “People should read this report and understand exactly what this fight is all about.”

INS involved
in voter fraud
80,000-plus criminals naturalized

to increase support for Democrats

2001

by Kenneth R. Timmerman

The 684-page INS inspector general report was released with little fanfare during a congressional hearing in September. Its most stunning allegation — that the Clinton-Gore White House had hijacked the INS for partisan political purposes in what amounted to massive voter fraud — never emerged as a campaign issue until after election day, when it became evident that Al Gore owed his near-victory in Florida to hundreds of thousands of newly-minted citizens in Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties.

According to the IG report, many of those new voters should never have been granted citizenship.

Some were convicted felons. Others had overstayed tourist visas and were working illegally. Close to 200,000 never underwent any background check, so INS does not know to this day whether they were eligible for citizenship. Few passed an English language and citizenship test worthy of the name. Some could not understand their own swearing-in, because the ceremony was conducted in English.

In presenting his report before Lamar Smith’s subcommittee on Sept. 7, Deputy Inspector General Robert L. Ashbaugh noted that repeated requests for interviews to the vice president’s office had been denied. Similarly, top presidential advisers Harold Ickes and Rahm Emanuel — identified as having played key roles in hijacking the INS for political purposes — refused to answer questions.

To: montag813 Who else here is sick and tired of “classy” Republicans who lose?

They sport fine tans, have head hairs that never leave their appointed place and wear wingtips with a sassy shine. They love being a congress critter or Lord in America's House of Lords.

John McCain is the benchmark of all that is wrong about the Republican party.

First we had the first Bush, a nice enough fellow but lacking the fortitude required to hold the forst. Lessee....they gave us that paragon of charisma and charm, Bob Dole. Then we had Dubya, admired for his dedication to clearing up the Middle East but despised for his refusal to defend himself or his administration's policies. Bush sat by and let Scooter Libby get a jail term and right there's all you need to know about his loyalty.

And John McCain?

come on, the whole lot of them spit on us, kicked us, even as they lay in the tanning beds and reached across the aisle for love and acceptance.

We need to get rid of every damn one of them. 95 posted on Wed 05 Nov 2008 06:56:39 PM EST by Fishtalk

Deserves repeating, Fishtalk and montag813.

Voting against Obama doesn't mean we chose McCain. I wanted to not vote for McCain so badly...

We didn't win because there wasn't a conservative candidate running for President. How many times..How many times must they see the same thing over and over, as FishTalk said, and still not get it. Compromise, bipartisanship....codewords for victory to the left. Stand on principle or kneel politely until you find your neck under the boot.

Moderate Republicans?? Read this and read it clear. Grow a pair and expel the taste of leather from your mouth or Go extinct yourself!!

I have a co-worker that grew up in the former socialist country of Yugoslavia. He made a simple yet profound statement regarding the election.

"You give to appease in an attempt to unify but the only thing that happens is you never get back what you gave away".

We will never get back what we have lost in this election. Only God knows at this point what that consists of.

I take it that Rahm Emanuel is part of the Chicago machine, too, just like his boss. The Obama administration is going to be a “riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma”.

Good morning.

Had to remove the article you posted because of the extremely obscene language used by Emanuel and his friends.

If you wish to re-post, please do so with asterisks in the appropriate places.

Thanks.
