Yeah I understand. I go home on the weekends and educate my brother (Age 12). My parents and my grandmother are both Dems. and me and friend who I consider an older brother and who admires like one give a fair shake to Conservatism. I tell him that he can trust me but he should still Verify. I want him to learn it, but not be pushed in....
We still have to work on abortion. He still doesn’t get it... I don’t want to have to go to pictures but I just might be forced too..
12 years old? Go with the pictures. The live pictures of the fetus in the womb. The one with the baby’s hand clutching the surgeon’s hand as he works on it inside the womb.
After that, show some of the tools of the abortion trade. Sort of like in the movies - no graphic violence but you see the victim, then the weapon, then a blank screen. Just stay away from the gory stuff.
If you (or more importantly your kid brother) are so inclined you can toss in some Biblical references with ideas like God knew us in our Mother’s womb, etc.
