I had to put up with a french coworker saying how wonderful it is we’re going to put out of the middle east (boy is she in for disappointment) and saying how it’s going to be “a long time, a very long time, a looooong time” before the economy is back on track. She’s probably fully aware 0 will tank the economy harder than a terrorist attack, heck it started today, but she thinks that if democrats set expectations low enough they can try to blame the coming depression on Bush. Fact is that it doesn’t have to be last for years if the right steps are taken now, but I could never get her to admit that, let alone that true conservatism is the answer that would save us.

Wow, that coworker of yours must have just woke up from a year-long coma. All we've heard for the past year is "hope and change", "Yes, We Can", and how Obama is going to give, give, give those freebies. From national healthcare to ending foreclosures to "spreading the wealth"...liberals are expecting the moon from the Zero. The expectations are stratospheric.
If Obama meets them, he'll have to print enough money to paper the universe and cause hyperinflation. But what if he doesn't meet them...what will happen to the Barackolytes when their messiah doesn't deliver?
