So, here's a perfect opening for Conservatives to sow seeds of dissension within the Dem ranks.
This election appears to be a cathartic experience for guilt-ridden white libtards. To them, this proves, finally, that the USA is not racist.
So, let's hold their feet to the fire and challenge them on racial preferences. Why are they necessary if the USA has proven itself to not be racist?
Blacks look at Obama as their jackpot and will press for more preferences and goodies.
If we can't be in power, let's at least have some fun!

I figured this kind of thing would happen. When the Democrats took congress I could have sworn I saw a champagne bucket behind the desk Cokie and George were sitting at. Didn't even turn the TV on. I watched “Air Force One”, and yes it was blatant escapism.

Careful, God told Samuel to let them have their king. He had plans for a King all along.........:^)
True...but He also told them that the king would make slaves of their children and tax them heavily.
I DO get your point though, and irrespective if our own current problems are God's providence OR His will, I stopped trusting our government a long time ago.
But hey...on a similar note...there could be something pretty good after this! :-)

Free fried chicken in every home. Is there anyway people such as yourself could maybe disassociate yourself with the GOP? Maybe you guys could go and revive the Dixiecrat party. You make the rest of us look bad and you make it real easy for the left to call ALL of us racists.
There is no room for people like you in my tent.

That really is what this whole election has been all about, hasn't it? An entire nation of juvenile people "showing" their proverbial old man one up?
We'll definitely be wishing for more experience once Obama the Young gets that test that his associate says is coming...
Regards,
Brian

Their votes were about Race and little else.Evidenced by every news article so far points out obama's skin color and ethnicity. That is all they could see.
I've already once voted for Alan Keyes in a primary to it isn't skin color that makes or breaks my vote.

Imho, I think Obama got selected because he’s basically weak/indecisive and can be manipulated. 0 also plays into a whole plethora of archetypal national emotions. Just an opinion.

The irony in all of this is that voting for Hussein because he is black, or celebrating the fact that he’s been elected president because he’s black, is as racist an act as NOT voting, or NOT celebrating the election.
All of this emotional outpouring over this historic event - it has only to do with the color of his skin, and absolutely nothing to do with the content of his character.

I like Mr. T a lot more than Obama!
This reporter is hideously unprofessional. I remember Norah O’Donnell a few years ago doing an abbreviated form of the happy dance on MSNBC when female senators won. I read that she has a law degree. Apparently, she was unaware of the basic guidelines of journalism.
