Who would like to see some Republicans come out and say I'm pissed off we lost? I'm mad as hell, and would like to break something. I'm already mad and seeing Republican after republican come out and talk about the "historic" context of this election, ticks me off even more!! Hell I expected McCain to give a gracious concession speech; but I almost expected him to say "why yes I actually voted for Obama myself". I wish any republican would show some freaking passion, show that you actually give a damn you lost

You certainly do need new friends. At best, you need to pare down the circle of friends you currently have and re-evaluate all of them right now while this is fresh in your mind.
I found myself doing that about 20 years ago. I realized that alot of my “friends: only called me when they needed a favor. I was pretty mad at myself when I finally figured it out.

It was also won by persons WE nurtured, paid for and supported for the last 45+ years. Welfare, Head Start, Food Stamps, affirmative action, preferential treatment in college admissions, etc.

Another thing that was driving me nuts after he was elected was all the commentators talking about the first black man, what a breakthrough, etc. To me that whole conversation on race ended years ago. When you see senators, governors, Colin Powell, Condi Rice etc. in positions of great power - OBVIOUSLY the racial barrier isn’t there! And hasn’t been in quite some time. The ONLY good thing about Obama being President is that is skin IS black.
One other thing that really got me pissed was when some kid in my 11 year-old daughter’s class called her a racist ‘cuz she didn’t vote for Obama! Unbelievable! She told him “No, I don’t like Obama because he’ll tax everyone more, will cause a depression, and will take away our guns.”

Well, I can think of several things off the top of my head: not only eliminate tipping, but restaurants and fast food places altogether. Give the Obamaniacs a preview of where they have taken themselves. I hate sandwiches, but what is coming is a lot worse.
No more entertainment of any kind: movies, sports, shows... the winners can use their "shared wealth" to keep them afloat.
I am going to to arrange for income just above the minimum level to survive, and see how long it takes the $200,000 "millionaire" tax to get down to reach me again.
And I am sure I will find a few more constructive ways to speed up the inevitable self-destruct.
I have no doubt of that, but my concern is what will happen to the rest of us in the meantime.

I am thinking that you are just the beginning of a flood. Companies are going to be sharpening their pencils and figuring how they can get down to basics, and not pay Nobama the taxes he thinks he can squander on none workers, and others who just stand with their hands open, expecting someone to pay for their lifestyle.

Danger in that Obi could well spend years 3 & 4 trying to regain their favor.
As to McCain, very early on many of us on FR questioned his nomination on grounds that he wasn't intended to win...now I'm fairly sure we were correct.
The real risk in this election was to Sara Palin, the developing story to watch is just what both parties do to her for running for VP on a losing ticket.
I just can't yet deal with the prospect of spending my retirement looking at Michelle and having to say "first lady". Maybe dark sunglasses will help.
