It's just too bad that Ron Paul poisoned his sterling reputation by making liberal moral equivalence arguments against the war in Iraq. There is plenty to criticize about socialistic nation building without all the outrageous and obnoxious talk of how we victimized so-called "innocent people". Iraq deserved to have their military power destroyed. Iraq deserved to lose territory for permanent American military bases. Iraq did not deserve billions upon billions of infrastructure spending and thousands of American lives lost or ruined by peacekeeping operations.
