One good thing for the people of Alaska, they do not have to share Sarah with the rest of an ungrateful socialist democracy.
DISAGREE. In the senate she'd be in the minority, and can't get anything worthwhile done. Plus she'd end up with a trail of votes that would necessarily compromise her principles.
Better, I think, if she had a 2nd term as Governor and runs for President in 2012.

Yeah...I was thinking of ‘that’ kind of experience so that they can’t use it against her when she runs for Prez......and also because it would be great to have a Senator with some gonads.

No - absolutely not! We need Gov. Palin to remain in Alaska gaining more experience as a Governor. She can study up on these issues much easier from there than in Washington. Plus, why do you want to go to D.C. and become corrupted like everyone else? As but one of 100 Senators, particularly one with obvious presidential aspirations, she wouldn’t find the going so easy. Plus, she can much more effectively criticize what we know is coming over the next 4 years from Alaska than as a fellow congressional official.

Being at the top of the Republican ticket in Alaska, continuing to accrue executive experience, is much better than being a junior legislator, being one of a hundred.
