Video killed the radio star. Every time Rush went on TV was a complete disaster. He did as poor a job of letting the media define him as the Republican party has did.

Well, I DO need to go see a dentist. And maybe these healthcare providers will be given get-out-of-malpractice-free cards, like our Military docs.

I nominate people that are concerned with ‘carbon-footprinting’ to be the first to be ‘capped’... after all, they ARE carbon-based life-forms.

Which will cause the prices of oil to skyrocket, also, when the rest of the world’s oil-supply is gone, we’ll be the new OPEC. (I’m not against the so-called alternative fuels, but I don’t think that Government should be so active in interdicting the development thereof; BioDiesel is, I think, VERY promising, just imagine if we could pipe off the byproducts of our food-markets into BioDiesel production.)
>4) allowing the Bush Tax cuts to sunset;
When this hits, point it out to people.

Actually, this one is just stupid. There is no silver-lining here... well, except maybe to rile people up; check out eff.org

I had the option of starting a 401(k) this year. I didn’t. So this isn’t quite as bad for me, personally.

I think that Iraq may be able to stand on its own. I hope it is. It would SUCK to see all out work go down the tubes. (And I’d be VERRY pissed off that the 6 months I spent guarding detainees, think living the hell of Groundhog Day, was for nothing... that’ll piss me off like no-other.)

I’m waiting for the military to get PISSED off at a government that treats them like crap. I’d also LOVE to see the Congress, USSC, and/or Pres actively disregarding the US Constitution, because the military is SWORN to protect the Constitution from enemies foreign and domestic... and I would love to see the politicos staining DC’s white cement red.

Excuse me. My understanding is that the point of Op Chaos was not actually to get Hillary nominated (if it was, that didn’t work either, did it?) but to keep both candidates at each other as long as possible and weaken the eventual nominee. After looking at last night...you call that weakened?

this election cycle i vowed to stay away from the television news media... even FOX NEWS CHANNEL... cut them off! don't give them an audience... don't watch Chris Matthews or Bill O'Reilly... don't even take a peek just to see what they're up to... we conservatives need to put our money and efforts where our mouth is... we talk, talk, talk... and still watch these channels and read these publications... we need to make a gigantic EXODUS... the media think we are powerless... and we are when we continue to watch their spin, yell about it, and watch it and read it, again and again... we need to ignore them in a big way...

Good Points all. I believe that even the MSM won't be able to blame Bush for all the terror bombings that suddenly begin on Obambi's watch. No amount of spin and propagandizing will hide the naked truth that under GWB we were safe, and under Obambi our shopping malls will be getting blown up. That's probably the only thing that could turn things around for control of congress in 2010.
AQ, I’m not confident that even with a articulate conservative candidate that the message could get out. With the MSM acting as the propaganda division of the DNC, too many people that just listen/read them would never hear it. The conservative would be battling to even just GET a message out while being thrashed 7x24.
Look at the buzz saw that Palin ran into within 24 hours of being selected. They set the tone and continued to hammer it day and night.
It proves Rush is no match for the MSM. The MSM is a medium in which we swim everyday. We listen to Rush every day, by choice. Try going anywhere where you are not bombarded by the MSM if not directly but by some bonehead who has been influenced by it.
The media is the supreme enemy. They seek to create a propaganda dictatorship as portrayed in 1984. We must build our own propaganda machine and crank out the truth as fast as they make the lies.
The msm is economically imploding and will have to complete reengineer itself. We have a narrow window of opportunity to join the big leagues. Look at the effect that Rush has had.
