votes are still coming in, but Queenie has already declared herself the victor.
We are ALMOST ready to move in to our house. Just a couple more things to finish!

It took 31 years for the fair housing chickens to come home to roost (carter’s first term)
10 years for the flash hider ban to expire.

McCain looked more comfortable during the concession speech than any time in recent memory. It was like he was relieved to be making the concession speech instead of the victory speech.

Pray tell....what should Rush be blamed for? There is people running around this site blaming Rush for Operation Chaos. They think Rush told people to vote for Obama when he really told them to vote for Hillary so Obama would get bloodied up.

Hi txradioguy. What a gloomy day. My state, Colorado, is now a deep blue state. Our governor, both senators, and five of seven congresscritters are liberals. My district is still conservative--we returned the very conservative Doug Lamborn to congress--but that's one of the few bright spots in the election.
Amendment 48, which would have defined "personhood" as beginning at conception, was defeated by a wide margin.

Does anyone know what happened to Allen West?
Sadly he lost...WTH is wrong with the electorate of this country?

My point was a lot fewer people agree with Rush today than did twenty years ago. I believe he has turned more people away from conservatism than toward it.

If I have to point it out, you wouldn’t get it anyway. Coulter and Levin also come to mind.

Looking forward to when “buyers remorse” starts to set in and none too soon.

I didn’t watch TV at all once the results started coming in but my wife listened to McCain’s concession on the radio and she called to tell me he was very gracious in defeat.
My first thought was “That’s why he lost” but I just let it slide because I wasn’t in the mood to get into a political discussion.

New Tone is how we got here.
W squandered the 94 revolution because he thought middle of
the road would be appreciated by the left and they, with
the help of the MSM, stuck it up our collective poopers.
THERE, I SAID IT!

Oh my goodness rwi, you should have heard the singing of God Bless America, the pledge of allegiance, Maddow’s excitement over O’s ‘we will defeat you’ re: her worries about what happened to us on 9-11 (I know) and the repeated claims that O never ran on race. I almost fell over.
I’ve noted how no one really spoke on the ‘race’ issue since the vote breakdowns came out. The media must be held accountable for the riffs they perpetuated during this election.
I talked to a Daily News columnist whom, like Sullivan, can’t seem to stop bashing Palin still. Let’s just say, I told him what his mother looked like.
I have vids of the subways, Park Slope, Harlem (125th/145th), Times and Union Sq., the universities from Berkeley to Rutgers, Japan and other countries. I have to get them on the same page.
Real minor note: For some reason, I can’t find the fashion police report re: FLMOs dress.

Sorry Rush, but I disagree. 338 electoral votes for Obama WAS a landslide. I’m not drinking the happy kool aid on that one.

The most frightening thing about this travesty -- among the myriad of frightening things -- is the realization that the mechanisms normally available to political opposition in this country, and with which they would use to coalese and regroup, will be gone. Fairness Doctrine will be the tip of the iceberg. Every election will be suspect. Any "conservative movement" we might hope to rebuild will face the prospect of breaking the law.
