Your right .
I read the same thing .
Its normal recouint in these cases and the Gov is a Repub so it won’t be a Wash state recount .

But the Dem strategy after 2004 was to control all Sec of State office in key states like MN !
The dems took control over OH, VA, NC, CO, NM NV to control the registration process !

Give it to Franken. It's all a circus anyway. The inmates are definately in control of the asylum.. all we can do is congratulate them, as I will my sister in an email, and prepare to scrape up the mess. God is still in control. :)

This is the strategy from the religious right? Looks to me like a whole lot of evangelicals who we have fought for are simply ready to accept this gang of Marxist thugs and criminals that are sweeping the land. The change they will bring won't effect us non-religious conservatives as much as it will effect the Christians. The Left has the Christians dead in their sights now and they are coming for you. They are collecting lions as we speak.

I’ve explained this over and over.

Dean Barkley was the Independent candidate , a Ventura handmaiden, who disproportionately siphoned votes from Coleman and not from Franken. The DFL laughed thru the entire campaign, knowing that their armies would vote for Franken while independents, who never would have voted for Franken, were lulled into voting for Barkley instead of Coleman.

Worse, there was a damned Libertarian candidate who took yet another 13,000 votes. Another Senate seat may be lost due to the damned libertarians - just like Montana in 2006.

*** Dems are at 54***

hmm, I may need new glasses. Swore I saw 55 on Fox.

In any case, no RAT super majority, which I hope will make Chuckie Schumer's head explode. He was drolling at the 'fact' (his) it would be 58 + 2.

My understanding is that there were thousands of provisional ballots statewide. As problematic ballots I expect these to break more than 3 to 1 for Franken once the army of “count every improper vote” lawyers arrive in their Gulfstreams.

“Pawlenty is the Governor and I am sure he will keep this thing clean. Still can’t figure out why so many people in MN voted for that jerk Franken. Must have been a straight party line habit.”

Could be, this is a blue state after all. But you should have seen the slime Franken threw at Coleman. Franken had a ton of money and he literally lied about Coleman being voted the 4th most corrupt senator and getting his clothes paid for by a guy in TX. Franken is a terrible person. I've already heard from a lawyer who is going to volunteer on the Coleman campaign to make sure no funny stuff goes on with Franken in the recount.

I think they just about perfected it in the 2004 WA Governor race.

I say Franken fits the Senate like a glove, only he shows it.

Haven’t heard any talk of succession, but when Texas agreed to join the Union it reserved the right to divide into 5 separate states, if it so chose. Maybe now is the time - 10 senators instead of 2.

That said, Cornyn is in for another 6 years, but we need a replacement in the wings in 2014. ANYONE who voted for that $700 billion pork package needs to be replaced. The only reasons I voted for Cornyn this time are his stand on illegal immigration and the fear of a 60-vote Dem majority.

Kay Bailey Hutchinson will not be re-upping for another term so she can come back and run for governor. We need to find someone with a stronger spine on illegal immigration and spending to replace her also.

“I think this will be one of the legacies of George Bush.

He has refused to enforce laws.”

Great insight and so true! However, it is one among many failures.

This is not a TV sitcom, people...
Oh but it is, the years of Bill Ayres “socialist anti-American re-education reforms” have worked like magic.
Sorry America! Hello Somalia.

"The Left has the Christians dead in their sights now and they are coming for you. They are collecting lions as we speak."

eh..we've faced worse...

Seriously tho.. I get where you're coming from. I always turn to my faith first, good times or bad. What can we do today but accept this Presidency? As a white, conservative Christian, southern born and bred, overweight, over forty female, I'm used to attacks. I have to live IN this world yet I chose to not be OF this world. I sincerely believe God is in control and His will is perfect.

I don't know what the "strategy from the religious right" will be. I've been known to question the motives of some on what is called the "religious right". I'll pray, I'll look for causes I can get behind, I'll continue to vote every time I have the opportunity. I also have two daughters ready to step out into the world as their own women, not just my daughters. I want them to have respect for the American process, even when they disagree.

Don't know when I'll be able to watch the news again, local or national. I'll probably isolate for a bit and concern myself with only what happens under MY roof... got one graduating high school this May, ya know.

If you know of anything I can DO today, that would make a difference, I'm like 0bama...all ears! (lame attempt at humor, i know)

Is the count irrelvant? Won’t Reid just change the Senate rules (what Frist should have done) and go with a simple majority?

I have no clue.

I can only say it is a statement as to how

PATHETIC, this state is.

VILE people appear to be popular to the dumbed down, godless, sheeple.

"harass them, demand recounts, loudly proclaim that fraud does not elect a legitimate office holder. This entire election was a fraud due to unprecedented Democrat vote fraud. "

Hey, I was right there in 2000, carrying signs, chanting and protesting Gore's recount. I am not in a position to find voter fraud, tho I certainly believe it played a role in this election, and I'm ready to do my part when that fraud is revealed. I'll look to conservative leaders I trust and go from there. I'm not rolling over and playing dead... possum maybe, but not dead. :)

But today is their's and I can't see any option than letting them revele in their hollow victory. The guy with the most money won..but surprise. The sheeple bought it.. like lambs to the slaughter.

Coleman has a ‘defamation’ suit filed against Franken, and I hope it goes forward and Franken is convicted and sentenced to prison. This vile excuse of a human being has proved he will lie about anyone he doesn't like, and it's time he learns a lesson. Unfortunately, the fact that so many people in Minnesota voted for a known dishonest and disgusting person like Al Franken makes them look pretty bad. What's wrong with the people that they lack good judgment? If I were a Democrat, I'd be ashamed to cast a vote for that jerk...I wouldn't want people to know: a) that I was so stupid, or b) that I allowed the DNC to do my thinking for me. Either way you slice it, anyone who voted for Franken has a problem, in my opinion.

Of course he will. Though IMO prolly not at first. My guess would be when Barry nominates his first Commie judge to SCOTUS and the Repubs filibuster.

That's what burned me about McCain and his Gang of 14. He and the rest had the foresight of a blind man. Except for the seven Rats, they knew what Reid would and will do given the first chance.

I may be wrong but I don’t think he can. The so-called “nuclear” option was suggested as a way to overcome the stalling on judges. I don’t think he can just pitch out the filibuster.
