I’ll say ahead of time, I think Coleman wins. He’s been declared winner. All I heard this morning is Franken saying something about “irregularities” at some places in Minneapolis of all places. Please! Coleman won and will remain in office.
FWIW, the Minnesota Secretary of State website is showing Coleman with 1211628 votes and Franken with 1210901 - 100% precincts reporting.
You don't give your enemy anything. Though it would be funny to see Al Franken delivering a speech from the well of the Senate stoned off his gourd. You know it would happen. He can't help himself.
If we want to laugh, let them perform it as a skit on SNL.

As to Murtha, I'm here in PA. His voters proved they were not racist rednecks as Murtha indicated over and over, but rather, ready for change by going for Obama, and yet, defied logic by sticking with their detractor, Murtha. Defies logic.
That just isn’t true. Go to Minn. Secretary of State site and you see that the final results with 100% reporting shows Coleman wins by 726 votes. Because of the margin, there will be a recount. Minnesota however has a pretty clean method of counting and I wouldn’t expect any recount to nudge things more than a handful og votes. That doesn’t mean that Franken wont make some court challenges.

Isn’t it funny? I avoided that movie thinking it was just more hollywierd stupidity. But I got stuck watching it one night and found myself drawn into the very prescience it showed. Perhaps they didn;t mean for it to be the warning it ultimately seemed, but maybe we should ALL give it another looky-look...

Pawlenty is the Governor and I am sure he will keep this thing clean. Still can’t figure out why so many people in MN voted for that jerk Franken. Must have been a straight party line habit.
Dems are at 54 if MN, AL, GA and OR stay with the Repubs. which is the way it is going. The Independents are Sanders (VT) who votes with the Dems. and Lieberman whose future status is in question. Right now it looks like the Dems can only count on 56 with Lieberman.
