Thank God, even though Smith is a RINO.

This is the liberal high point.. they couldn’t grab 60.

Now it is our turn to go after them. And they are truly corrupt. They leave massive paper trails.

These are not final results, Smith did not win, he is in fact likely to lose when the liberal counties report.

Yes. But the problem right now is that we conservatives have no clue as to what we're about, nor how to spread our message (if we had one).

Before we "go after them," we need to get our own heads on straight.

100% reported, am I missing something?

“‘twould’ve been nice to get rid of Murtha”.

...all I can say about Murtha is he must know his constituency pretty well. They really must be dumb ass rednecks.

Hey, maybe he can lead the GOP in 2012! It worked so well this time (and in 1996)!

I sure hope that stands. If Coleman remains ahead in MN, and Stevens wins AK then Repubs will have a surprising 44. Just maybe they can get back into a majority within 4 years if 0bama screws up enough. At this point though it looks like Republicans might never be able to recover.

I see Chambliss is down to 50% in GA. If that goes to a runoff you think he will win? I guess he would be favored.

I was hoping Smith would go down. We need to sweep the RINOs out and regroup with some valued, consistent leadership to present.
