The media created the persona that people see in President Bush. The media generated the low approval ratings.

We now know that the media can manipulate anything they want.

We must make that a focus in our fight. We've got to figure out a way our voices can be heard en masse, because the opposition's intent is to silence us completely.

True. The "Dinosaur Media" label is very misleading. Dinosaurs, while they were here, dominated.

Thank you. Unfortunately, the media is aware of that as well.

Unless and until the electorate decides to vote responsibly, i.e., actually researching what they're told by the news media, we're in deep trouble.

Agree with your post #22. Four things we must now focus on: 1) The destruction of the media. We can’t let them think they can pick, or destroy at their whim, any of our people; 2) Institutions of “higher learning” who teach marxism over freedom; 3) the democrat party as a criminal enterprise; and 4) We need to refocus the RNC on conservative, pro-American (non-RINO) candidates.

We’ve lost it all, friends and well wishers. We need to adapt to the new reality...

...if you’re thinking about the Fairness Doctrine, I doubt that BO will be worrying much about that...it won’t be an issue the general populace cares about much, and there will be a lot more to occupy BO’s time and efforts...will we see a proclamation that all right wing radio be balanced with left wing speech, thus eliminating for all intents and purposes political discourse on the radio? I say no. I think what the dems may push for is more local programming of the airwaves, which might serve the purpose, though in a much reduced fashion...but something as ham handed as the Fairness Doctrine...I wouldn’t worry too much...

Amen to that!! The Media from day one has told us Bush stole the election, he is so stupid, he takes too many vacations, he never ever reads a newspaper or a book. He goes to bed early, he doesn’t have any parties at the White House like Bill Cinton did,He’s a horrible speaker, etc.
These are just some I could think of in a minute. Now we have been told daily Obama is extremely intelligent, well read, well traveled, and a regular basketball playing, trickortreating with his kids dad. Wow, he’s superman! My question is, how does the media think we are to believe anything they tell us from now on about the new administration? They could tell me the sky is falling now and I wouldn’t even look up.

Allegra, you are right on target. We need to fight on all corners of this ring and the media is a big one.
