This was the election that determines the future of both the Republican Party and all of U.S. conservatism, and both Republicans and conservatives badly lost, thanks to a majority of both ignorant voters and stupid voters. When stupid voters and ignorant voters form a majority of voters throughout the U.S. and then illegal immigrants are also added as future voters to both of these groups for all future U.S. elections, then it’s really all over forever for this country, folks! All of the optimism really doesn’t cut it when reality keeps saying something else. People can attack my pessimism all they want to, but I’m still correct about all of these things. My ongoing depression about what has just happened on November 4 will be with me for the rest of my life, and I know too well about all of the “mess” that’s really coming this country’s way. So many people’s lives and so many businesses will be ruined for good for many years to come, and conservatism won’t ever successfully return to this country in my lifetime, if not forever. The left will always do all that they can do to make sure that conservatism never returns to the U.S., while the left also continues to screw up everything on every issue while getting away with it each and every time!

no one takes these things harder than I do....that's why I am on the computer right now....

but a couple of things.....I really do believe we have found our way....Bush...God love him...but he has left us high and dry.....he wasn't good for us and infact in many ways, he hurt our cause in so many ways....( prescription drug plan!)

we have found some leaders...Sarah Palin...Fred and Rudy are going to be excellent senior statesmen....I was impressed with those that fought the bailout....I am impressed with many here...

secondly......do what I did.....several weeks ago a downloaded an application for a license in Alaska ( I'm a nurse) and even though it is probably just a pipe dream, its there....I tell myself if things go badly down here, we'll just move and live simply and quietly and freely in alaska.....just the thought of that helps me deal with this whole debacle.

IOWS.....find yourself an "out" to quiet the anxiety.....maybe even just thinking of a different job....maybe just the thought of moving far out in the country somewhere might soothe you a bit...

I agree with you totally. The best thing those of us who understand this can do is to hide in the shelter of our faith, pray for those in authority over us and to live our lives as best we can with what is left to us after the looting takes place. No nation can survive when it’s own government becomes the “plunderer.” We will see whether President Obama understands this and whether the people surrounding him are so drunk with power that they do not care, really, what the consequences of their action might be, say, 10 years down the road. I think the most likely outcome of such action will be that another nation will conquer the US and we will not exist anymore as America. “Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness,” is what America offered to those courageous enough to believe and live it. Now, many fear that such an opportunity will be handpicked by those who govern. Did you know that almost everyone elected to Congress becomes a millionaire in a short amount of time? And, even though some may stay only two years, they have a fat retirement for the rest of their lives. This is a travesty and a crime against the taxpayer. A retirement check should require at least 10-20 years of service. I grieve as I recognize the signs of the times..Look at ancient Rome..The road we are on is illustrated in that bit of history.
