This is the party now of Jindal and Palin

While tonight and quite frankly the last 2 years have been depressing, I see some bright days ahead.

One, they cant blame us anymore. Not the media. Not the internet scum on the Kos and Underground. Not Hollywood. The Libs are in charge of everything. They own EVERYTHING from January on. We'll see how that goes for them. I dont think the country will like what they have to offer.

And second, the Washington establishment blue blood chicken little fat cat little idea GOP is done. They are gone. The future of this party is coming from outside the Beltway from now on. The GOP leadership in Washington is missing in action and lacks any voice.

NEVER AGAIN, will we nominated inarticulate canidates who DONT FIGHT BACK. Dont fact back against the vermin in the media. And dont fight back against the Dems. We will nominate passionate charasimatic conservatives who have governed and led.

Tonight marks the dawning of the Sarah Palin and Bobby Jindals and anyone else who understands the thirst there is for leadership in this party and the need to be fighters and reformers. Lets hope we start attracting better candidates in this model too.

I would much rather run a real conservative so that I can enthusiastically support him/her instead of holding my nose and supporting McCain. Gov. Palin was a real plus and made the ticket more palatable. This time I voted for my Republican candidates on the NY Conservative party line. I may switch parties formally. I am sick of ball-less RINOs. If I go down to defeat, I would rather do it with soul mates who will lay the truth on the line. What did McCain’s willingness to “cross the aisle” get him? A knife in the back. There is no common ground with the socialists. God help the US!

Which is why right now I prefer Jindal over Palin. He is very smart and intelligent.

So is Palin. She will get better with time. She was mishandled terribly by the campaign but got better and better as it went on. She will have 4 years to grow and learn. Dont forget...this woman was thrown into a firestorm like no other. They went after her with a venom like no other and she handled with grace. Do not write her off.

As far as I am concerned, they own more that that. They will take responsibility for all negative things that occur as a direct or indirect result of this election’s outcome. That is being fair. If I was being UNFAIR, I’d lower by blame assignments to the level that the leftists have resided over the past eight years. I’ll stop at being fair.

Events will occur as a result of this decision, that had nothing to do with the President-Elects actions. (Some will occur as a result of his actions.) These events will be just as real as official Edicts. Remember that! These may occur prior to the Inauguration, but are no less real.

EVERYTHING!!! that occurs as a result of this national decision will be the because of this decision. We collectively have decided to throw away the common sense that has guided this country for over 200 years and we cannot collectively avoid the consequences of this collective decision.

Bringing the horse into Troy was thought to be a bad idea, but cooler heads prevailed.

As of today, it's King Barack’s fault—and we'll let him know it.

What about Freeping Walter Reed? Are we still going to do that?

There sure are a lot of posters who signed up in the last couple weeks, who say things which start:

“Palin, on the other hand...”

Obama Troll? Or Romney Troll?

Which are you?

Gov. Palin and all her children are already fully vetted too! Will save time in the future for the Drive By Media.

There are many things we can do; the best thing is it sweeps out the old and brings in new faces and ideas and people less corrupted by Washington. When King Barack’s plans start to weaken the economy, we'll be influential again.

Obama might be a complete moron - in fact let’s start there - he is a complete moron. But, we don’t administer IQ tests to the presidential candidates. Palin might be a genious. Maybe she scored 1600 on her SAT’s - it doesn’t matter. It doesn’t come off when she speaks.

To the middle 2/3 of the electorate it doesn’t matter what the candidate says. All that matters is how well he articulates it says it and how good he looks when he delivers it.

Millions of used cars are sold every year to people that either didn’t need a used car or didn’t want the car they ended up buying. But they still bought it. 18 months from now were all going to paying for a car nobody will remember wanting. That’s politics in America today, yesterday and tomorrow.

And Huckabee!

I think Huckabee is good where he is at right now... in his new show on FOX. He could be the next "Right Leaning Male White Oprah". He could stump for Palin and Jindal in front of his studio audience.

New poster sure. Obama troll, I don’t think so. Been a Republican since 84 - the first election I could vote. Fought in two wars and have paid more in taxes than I can count.

Personally, I wanted Thompson, but his heart just wasn’t in it. Above all else, I’m a realist and want to win. If I thought Palin could win, I’d back he but I just don’t think she’s got the chops.

Only credentialed Conservative leaders will be allowed in.

That might be a good idea, if it wasn't completely illegal;.

I think today there is no GOP.Palin will go back to Alaska and prepare herself for the future. Jindal and Pawlenty have states to run and reputations to build.Kantor has to deal with a Congress that can ignore the minority. The Senate has never provided leadership to the GOP.

This, while actually a fairly close election in terms of popular vote, is a disaster of 64 proportions. It took a failed war and a retread politician to recapture the White House . That's not going to happen again. The demographics and class warfare of the Dems could build a governing majority lasting until my 22 year old retires. We're in for a long time in the wilderness. We may recapture the White House at times, but not the government, and my bet is that Obama, Reid, and Pelosi will start govt programs we can never rescind.

While tonight and quite frankly the last 2 years have been depressing, I see some bright days ahead.

Two years? Hell, try eight. Bush sounded like a conservative while he was campaigning, then after taking office, immediately started cooperating with Ted Kennedy, elevating EPA to a cabinet level dept, pushing new benefit programs, shamnesty, etc. Talk about bait and switch. What a lemon. The only things that make me think the guy's entire administration wasn't a complete waste were his very good SCOTUS appointments and his sincere effort to prosecute the war on terror.

YOU are wrong! The DemonCRAPS will still blame the "Bush policies" for everything. And as for Sarah Palin , and or Jindal, a lot can happen in four years. The angry left (DemoncRATS) already have hordes of private detectives ready to pounce on Jindal ,and Sarah Palin, and anybody else who they think might take their power from them . You are naive if you think it will be easy to dethrone them in four years or ever! Illegal and legal immigrants are swarming into the USA and will vote overwhelmingly with the Demoncraps, and you KNOW it. And liberals Demoncraps) in droves are exiting their home states that they have f*cked up and taking up residences in our beloved red states, totally screwing up the voting patterns. So ENOUGH with the pollyana type hype. It's all over . The party is OVER.

Wonderful. Unfortunately, the damage that will be done will take a generation to un-do, IF America survives at all. IMHO, America as we knew and loved it; is gone.

DITTO !

Just saying.

Lay off Palin.

She’s held up better, and stronger, to a full-on leftwing media assault (helped by a number of turncoat “republicans”) than any Republican in recent history.

The last Republican exposed to such an assault was Newt Gingrich. He folded. IMHO that was the beginning of the end, for the GOP.

Don’t let’s make that mistake twice. Lay off.

She’s earned our respect.

I understand your concern, but GOP defeat is not inevitable.

Time for someone to say it: THE EMPEROR HAS NO CLOTHES.

McCain is ... (hold onto something) ... BORING.

He makes Bob Dole seem inspiring.

We could not have picked a *less* exciting candidate.

So. Let’s not, next time.

“Huckabee stayed in the campaign against Mccain until the very end. “

I’m not a Huckabee guy but with about 14 years in office I agree that he had his own reasons for running, he wasn’t there just to annoy the goofy kid.
