DO NOT PANIC. THE POPULAR VOTE IS A VIRTUAL TIE.
Marston Chronicles ^ | November 4, 2008 | Paul Marston

MCCAIN-PALIN 310 OBAMA-BIDEN 228

I AM HOLDING AT THIS PREDICTION AS THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF ANY FURTHER MOVEMENT. THE ONLY STATE THAT IS IN DOUBT IN THIS PREDICTION IS NEW HAMPSHIRE. IF MCCAIN-PALIN DOES NOT CARRY IT, IT WOULD CHANGE TO RESULT TO MCCAIN-PALIN 306 OBAMA-BIDEN 232, STILL A LANDSLIDE. PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE EXIT POLLS AS THEY HAVE THE SAME FLAWS AS REGULAR POLLS. THE ONLY THING THAT COUNTS NOW IS THE ACTUAL VOTE TALLIES IN THE BATTLEGROUND STATES.

Remember that the eastern time zone states come in first. Florida and Virginia must go for McCain-Palin or they lose. If they carry Pennsylvania, they are assured of winning. New Hampshire and the one vote in Maine are bonuses. If either of them or both of them come in, there will be a McCain-Palin landslide for sure. There is no point in staying glued to a biased media. Even Fox is expecting an Obama-Biden landslide so they will present anything that backs up their expectations.

That’s why I said I’ll wait till they count the votes.
There’s too many listening to exit poll counts which are NEVER right.
Then they post Ohio’s gone boo hoo... Gezzz. At least they could read the list before they post. No sense all the exit poll counters posting the same crap over and over.

Australia is Socialist, too. I'm lookin' as well.

In Oz, the Labor party is still targeting the middle class Makers: In Obamaland the Dems are concentrating on appealing to the Takers and Fakers.

So you think there is a hope? I went to the C-Span link and McCain is tied and they are calling Minnestota with 1% of the vote?

Mr. Marston said the big cities get counted first. He said do not panic. I wish he was updating his site every 10 minutes.

Calling the vote is a completely different technique than polling exit or otherwise. I did a bit of it for channel 2 in NYC when i was in college. Without computers we could look at returns from a few precincts and by comparing turnout and actual returns we could make a call in the vote that nine times out of ten was dead on.

The Pa call was way too early, but 15% in Ohio, if they are from predictive precincts should produce a tragic but correct result. If I'm wrong I'll be ecstatic, but my email is clicking away every few minutes with Channel 4 updates on what state has been called for obama. I'm turning off the sound so i don't hear them.

You don't need to worry about the government coming after your guns in Switzerland or Israel.

If he makes it to the Presidency we need to quickly before he takes over organize mass protests and demand his birth certificate. Millions and millions of us.

At least obama isn’t in Australia.

As for you saying that I’m not a true patriot??? I fought cancer here as a single parent and won, I fought job loss, and poverty, and won. I’m no different than anyone else who has spent decades fighting against the decay of this once great country. But knowing that so many want this to be a socialist state, and that so many fought to make it one by electing obama....I can’t fight them all.

0bama will gain a few million votes with the Peoples Republiks of NY and CA. Not many votes counted from either state.

Not looking good for the good guys.

The polls were wrong..McCain is running much closer then they claimed he would. It just appears it wasn't enough..you were right to hold out hope McCain and Sarah gave it one hell of a fight. I don't think the dem’s will get 60 in the Senate. Ohio's had a bad economy for years, I think this just didn't play well for McCain. Bush didn’t help. Let's see how well McCain finishes, if it's close, the dem’s won't have a mandate to go too far left. We may just be OK. Time to get going on 2010 & 2012.

I do not get all the animosity directed towards the PUMA’s. They tried to help, why would they be laughing at us or what possible motive could they have had other than those they stated?

If they couldn’t deliver, they couldn’t deliver. I see nothing nefarious in that at all. If this election is lost, they are with us now. They fought with us and if we have lost they will continue to fight with us. In 2012, who do you think they are going to support? Obama? Not very likely.

I was able to get on and whamo...they locked me out. What’s up, I wonder?
After reading them for weeks and weeks, I find it hard to believe they stabbed us in the back like some have said.

They have been genuinely irked at o, because of what he did to hillary. And working and giving $ like mad to get Sarah into the White House.

I’ve read that the Aussies are damned choosy about who they let come in as an immigrant.
