I can’t get the Fox Interactive Map to work, is there something I need to do/install?
“What I still cant get over is how someone that hates what this country is can be this close to being president....”
It’s like this: 25% of Americans really do hate America, and would like nothing better for it to suffer and fail; nothing will dissuade them from their position. 35% of Americans love America and want it to prosper and be successful in everything; they, too, are not dissuadible. That leaves 40%. That 40% are ignorant and apathetic, which pretty much amounts to the same thing. These are the folks who are easily swayed by talking points, sound bites, and lofty rhetoric: They DO NOT make any effort to research the issues, study the facts, etc. Since these are the folks who are influenced primarily by spot emotion, it is no stretch to assume they are the ones who will be emore readily convinced by slick advertising and a smooth talker. I believe 75% of that number would buy into the MSM’s and Obambi’s swill, leaving 10% who do not. That leaves us with 55% for Obambi and 45% for McCain.
That is where we are in America in 2008.
Check out Johnson County, Kentucky on the Fox map (near the very eastern edge of the state). It shows 3322 votes for McCain, ZERO for Obama.
Yeah, my C-Span interactive map, which is actually from the AP, has the same thing for VT—except you have to click on the state to see the checkmark, they haven’t colored the state in yet.
The really sad part is that a sizable portion of the population agrees with him... >
I was freakin’ out when I first saw some of the results until I saw the ridiculously small percentage of votes that were in. I really think there needs to be some regulation about media calling states for a candidate. Really- how the hell can you call a state with less than 5% of the votes?
The Fox map just gave W. Virginia to McCain—9 minutes before their polls close.
Do yourself a favor and curl up with a good book for the next few hours.
Now the Fox map has taken off the early W. Virginia declaration. (No longer red.)
Well there you have, confirmation that ZERO truly does stand for Obama. Fox News gets it. ; )

EV - John McCain 42 | Barack Obama 79
California | Win - Barack Obama (Not Official)
Illinois | Win - Barack Obama (Not Official)
Kentucky | Win - John McCain
Texas | Win - John McCain (Not Official)
Vermont | Win - Barack Obama
It’s back now
How many EV for W. Virginia?
I guess they’ll call a state a minute after their polls close—but not 9 minutes before!
WV just went red again...
5
uhhh... Objectivist party candidate Stevens is pulling 4%? How about that...!
Fox’s map is a waste. They called WV, then un-called, the re-called; And they called & uncalled DE. In indiana, they published results for Marion County (Indianapolis) & a few neighboring counties, now those are gone again.
Florida is really upside down right now. Mac down 12 with 3%
