I'm physically here but mentally I can't come to grips with the whole concept that we've just elected a marxist as our next President.

FNC was becoming a little too giddy so I switched to MSNBC thinking they couldn't be any worse. There was good old Robinson (writer for Washington Post?) saying that the GOP doesn't represent the country we live in today and hasn't for years as we're no longer white but much darker due to large Latino influx. Seems to me majority of Latinos favored GWB and McCain was winning their vote BEFORE the economic mess.

Shays lost his bid!

I'm just stunned... I guess we have to admit a lot of the polls were right. I really fear for this country, and wonder just who is populating this (formerly) great nation. Who would vote this empty suit Marxist into power? I can just imagine Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn raising a glass as I type this... *barf*

What IS up with Fox News tonight? They're totally unprofessional, Brit Hume included. They've been spending more time talking about how great their election night set is rather than giving the viewers actual results.

I will be interested in seeing how Latinos voted nationwide in this election. If they go Dem "for life", Republicans/conservatives will be relegated to a very small minority for the rest of our lifetimes, I think..

Yes, Chris Shays lost his seat. So now all five of CT's Congressmen are RATs. And I'll be they will be for life. Some CT Freepers are celebrating the end of "that RINO Chris Shays". I don't see where it's a good thing to lose him... he voted with the Republicans many times...

Virginia and I think Florida (?!) just went to Obama. Hume and Karl Rove talking about the Fairness Doctrine, which is sure to be put in place by this unbelievable 'RAT majority. This is unreal.

As I've mentioned to you in FReepmails I didn't pin any hopes on a victory for a few weeks now so I'm not stunned. Disgusted, disappointed, a shocked that we live in such a parallel universe. My my what will Jesse Jackson do with the rest of his life?

Did you hear the Congressman Ryan (R) earlier on FNC saying we're a party who didn't look at the big picture, didn't take chances and go directly to the electorate instead of letting the dems dictate what was to be and spend like drunking sailors instead of remembering our principles. Let's hope what remains of our party in congress pays heed to this man.

I just can’t believe this! Please let me wake up from this dream.

With the huge turn-out today, I was certain that the
American public was coming out to vote against this dangerous man, this fraud. I sure was wrong.

He may be the president-elect (vomiting) but I dearly hope there are forces behind the scenes who are working to expose something about him that will take him down before 1/20.

The only saving grace it that the Senate will probably not get their filibuster, but it is little comfort.

But will I ever trust the American electorate again? No! And I will never put any faith in the media — who put this man where he is right now.

McCain is talking now (and — yes — he has to bear some of the blame) and he is talking about coming together and backing O. Well -— not me!

Time to take up post in front of the White House again?
