Huge voter turnout this morning in MN when polls opened. Where I work it was a precint place (Assisted Living Facility). Lots of people waiting in line to vote. In the area lots of Coleman, Paulsen, McCain and Palin signs.

Try the fixes JR suggested - change your number of items shown to 20 (Under Account, then Preferences). Then reduce the sidebar items shown to just the ones you want (Under Blocks).
It’s much faster for me now with those changes.

The whole 2008 madhouse is what drove me to FR in the first place. I got my news from NewsMax at the time, and they must have mentioned FR in one story because once I stopped by here, that was it. Free Republic is hands down the most comprehensive source of election news. Period.

LOL! We really ought to change our colors. Although they do deserve the blue for blue blood elitists as well.

NBC has called Kentucky for McCain and Vermont for Obama. I live in Vermont - the polls just closed at 7, how they can they call it already? (though I know for sure Planet Moonbat here would go for Obama).
