The Panhandle is also where some of the military bases are (Pensacola, Tindall, etc.)?
Track the FL numbers at http://enight.dos.state.fl.us/
ignore the media reported number, they always report the liberal counties first.
Thank you..that makes me feel a little better about Florida.
Florida’s only 4% reporting. Relax. Certainly there are large cities and many precincte that will go for Obama. If it was 50% then you could worry.
The Florida vote started the exact same way in 2000 and 2004. Not sweating it.
Miami-Dade went 53-46 for Kerry in 2004. A lot of the counted votes are from Miami-Dade so far, where Obama has a 60/40 lead with almost 500k votes counted.
54-44 mccain in allen county, 51-48 in the State of Indiana, McCain up..
OH and PA haven’t reported in yet - tweetty birds off his rocker.
Ugh. Paper BAG.
I’ve just been watching the BBC coverage of the US election here in the UK. I’ve had to turn it off. I have never, EVER, seen anything so blatantly biased in all of my days. I am truly shocked. I always naively believed that the BBC had some commitment to objectivity, especially when covering a foreign election but....words fail me. Absolutely disgraceful.
Calm down until we see what happens.
I love MN. Have a very dear friend that lives in the St.Paul area. Nice folks up that way. I have no idea why people vote the way they do.
In IL, you have the more conservative middle part of the state, then the cesspool known as Chicago which effectively neutralizes any good the rest of the state can do.
PREDICTION: The military vote, especially in the Va. Beach, Hampton Roads Tidewater area will go solidly for McCain...it went for Webb as most considered him one of them while the military didn't consider the same for "Macaca" Allen.
Yup and it was just confirmed by FNC that the panhandle doesn't close until 8:00 so we shouldn't be discouraged by the numbers yet.
When posting please posts Numbers with %’s.
Lets stop with the confusing numbers
Try a paper bag instead, and put it on Franken's head.
Roger that!

I know, it’s the New York Times.
But, it breaks it county down and you can compare it with 2000 and 2004.
Please, McCain Palin 08!
Waynesboro High School Class of '72! First vote cast for Richard M. Nixon!
