I’d hope this is the end of any McCain influence in the party, but he’s going back to the Senate, and I’ll bet he’ll be very eager to “reach across the aisle” to “get things done.” Oh joy.
Good. Then let me take this opportunity to say that over the next four years I pledge to be as fair to Obama as the leftists were to Bush. No, let me amend that. I'm going to be TWICE as fair.

I will never accept That One as my president. I’m tired of hearing his pompous voice already. Give it 6 months and more will get tired of the empty rhetoric. Give it 4 years, and you’ll be hard pressed to find anyone who will admit to voting for him.
I voted for that amendment, for McCain/Palin, and for my GOP congressional candidate. And McCain is still within 2-3% here. It ain’t over yet....
