I could not take the analysis/hints and held out hope So did many of us.
I still have hope, but not in a McCain win; rather, in the fundamental patriotism of the American people. Sometimes, we just screw up.

It looks like the Dems won’t get 60 in the Senate.
The Republicans can filibuster the Fairness Doctrine.

McCain ahead in NC by 900 votes! Woo hoo!
To: do the dhue
You know, I don't feel derangement against him so much as I do the people who support him. The ones that should know better. There are friends & acquaintances whose presence I really can't imagine enjoying to be in anymore.

Great ideas! We need to go into Atlas Shrugged mode....

I was a kid during the Carter years. But, was looking at
the capital gain rates - OMG - the rates were out of control high.

Carl Cameron was just on and he said the McCain people are even saying they don’t see a clear path at this point.

Sadly, good luck investigating anything now... the mafia coming to town will make the Clinton’s look like honest conservatives.

But we can be a major irritant to O if we set our minds to it. And just think of when Michelle mouths off and offends people,,,that should be fun.Hon, if you were here, I'd be high-fiving you! LMAO

Pulling the troops out of Iraq means 4 thousand Americans died for nothing.
We can’t pull out and I say that, having relatives over there.

We can play criticizer and offense.
Especially now that the race card is dead, dead, dead. After all, a black man is President! That comment should get under the skin of some liberals tomorrow...
Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are out of work!

LOL!
In my local races, we always have Dems running unopposed. How absolutely totally lame is that? I filled in the “No Candidate” dot on at least 4 of them.
We will NEVER win if real, viable and dynamic people don’t start stepping up to the plate and running on conservative principles again.
To: Windcatcher
Yes, please — once we get through this — work on that thread.
Ping me if you do.

The problem is that there are a whole lot of Representatives that do not comprehend the enormity of the economic problems coming down the path. Neither do their voters.
But they're all about to find out the hard way.
So be it. The folks who've covered their butts will be okay. As for the rest of 'em, well, live and learn.
