“But I have a VERY close source working inside the PA Republican Party and just talked to this person a few minutes ago...McCain is winning BIG in Western and Central PA. It seems coal country is pissed at 0’s comments over the weekend...”
........the big news would be if he WASN’T winning big in the “T”..
Not suprising at all and that would explain the high internals for McCain in PA.
It’s all turnout now, GET OUT THE VOTE! GET OUT THE VOTE!
Its all about turnout.
“Anonymous Source” = “Made-up BS”
There are a few areas outside the “T” that are included.
If McCain can turn PA, he’ll win. I suspect lots of people in PA who voted for Kerry or Gore will vote for McCain.
I live in south central PA, back in the country.
The ladies at the voteing place said that usually they have 50-55% turn out. It looks like it will be 70-75% today.
And back here in the woods it’s probably 90% Republican or more.
My wife and I voted this morning in Central Pennsylvania just outside of Harrisburg. It is a solid Republican area.
We talked to the people working at the polling place and they said this is the heaviest turnout that they have ever seen. Looks good for McCain/Palin.
Don’t tell steve-b that, he’ll accuse you of BS.
I choose to believe you.
We’re gonna win PA and we’re gonna win the election!!! OH YEAH!!!!!
Do you know what the weather has been in blue SE PA so far today? The map shows RAIN in the next 36 hours.

We have two problem blue areas in VA. It’s been raining in one of them.
Count two more for McCain/Palin from Southwestern Pa when my wife and I go to vote after work. Yeah baby!!!
Turnout is very heavy in south central. But, according to the press, the people in Lancaster County aren’t all going for McCain. http://articles.lancasteronline.com/local/4/229714
Perhaps people are lying to pollsters. In elections like this one, perhaps exit polls are even more inaccurate than they usually are?
at least the black panthers are NOT blocking voters in central and western Pa- hopefully their thug tactics will suppress all voting in Philly- not enhance it
Since you have a source, my friend—even an anonymous source on deep background—this is NOT a vanity.
THANKS for posting it.
I will just add, anecdotally, that in this red county in North Central Penna, I finally realized something that’s been nagging at me for weeks. There was something odd about the signage.
Local Republican candidates’ lawn signs are inevitably paired with McCain/Palin signs, like 95% of the time. But those folks with local Democrats’ signs have those signs out alone (only being paired with an Obama sign perhaps 15% of the time).
The local Democrats are NOT excited about Obama and by-and-large do not want to be connected with him.
Here in PA-5, I’d wager McCain will get a higher vote percentage than Reagan did...that’s how bad it looks for Hussein here.
I live in western PA and our polling place over-flow lots were full this morning before noon. This is conservative country but like many places Dems have been moving in. My Dem neighbor voted McCain.
I voted at 10 .. were ~30 folks in line the whole time I was there .. poll worked said it had been like that since 7am.
Same line when I left for errands ~11 .. just passed by polling place again on my way home and only a few cars there now, so most of the village (~1,000) has likely voted.
Another tidbit .. stopped at McP HQ last night in Lewisburg to volunteer to drive folks to vote, but the lady running the place said they'd already been overrun with volunteers for *everything* and had had to turn folks away.
We just gotta win this thing y'all !
