I had already made up my mind that if I were approached by any exit pollers after I voted, that I would tell them to go oooooggggggaaaaa themselves.
TOPICS: Constitution/Conservatism; News/Current Events; Politics/Elections; US: Wyoming

No sooner than I had run my ballot through the scanner, then I was "mugged" by this exit poller INSIDE the polling precinct. She says, 'would you mind providing statistics for an exit poll.' That PO'd me big time. I expected this to happen but outside the precinct. I gave this young snot a lecture on the secrecy of the ballot box and told her to get out of my ooooooogggggggaaaaa face! I then went to an election judge who refereed me to one of the county election workers. The election worker 'agreed with me' but it was allowed by Wyoming law. She asked me if she could pass my name and phone number on to her boss, Fremont County Clerk Julie Freese and I said please do! When I got home a call was waiting for me from the county clerk and we had a pleasant conversation (I was simmering down by then). She said she also agree with me 100% but she was bound by the law. Her parting comment was 'I am so glad you jumped in her stuff!' This was telling to me in that election officials are aware of the skewering of statistics by these scumbags.
If you have not voted yet, I highly recommend you take this into consideration when you are done. If approached, tell them to go to hell.

duuuude, you let your anger get the best of you!
You should have “played” with her and fed her the answers she was looking for. If exit polls show that obama is winning then most likely less DEMONCRATS will go to the polls!

Actually, my reply was measured and accurate. I did not raise my voice and I am tired of being polite to the opposition - they are not to me or anyone that thinks like I do (at least the ones I know). Politeness never wins anything.

Tell them that anyone listening to exit polls on election day to determine whether to go to the polls should vote for Cynthia McKinney.

I would have lied and said I voted for Obama, because I want the concept of exit polling done away with, and the best way to do that is to discredit it.

Forgive my ignorance. THis is a serious question:
Why do we not want to respond to exit-pollers? How would it hurt if many McCain people were accounted for in the exit-polling?

I understand your sentiments but my point wasn’t about being polite but about being like a special ops member and engaging in psy-ops to screw up the opposition. WE know she wasn’t going to change your vote but you had the ability to help slam the Obamatrons and keep them from coming to vote if they thought their Leader had it in the bag!

If you are asked who you voted for, simply say, “The One. You know, President McCain, of course.”
To: MAD-AS-HELL
Okay, I can agree with you on that. Special ops is a good description!

Better yet, only answer “The One” and “The Messiah.” Give no names. Refuse to give names, just cryptic answers like “I voted for Change and Hope.”

How would you guarantee that McCain exit polling would be reported accurately? We know the MSM is less than truthful, so why should we play their game on their terms?
