it basicly translates to “of tommorrow”
it is affiliated with the “new democracy” party which is the conservative party in Greece which tends to flow pro-american.
They currently hold a clear majority in the unicameral parlament.
This must have been on an editorial page.
In Greece newspapers are affiliated with parties or a political slant.

Oddly, the northeastern branch of my family (we are Jewish) “get” it (my entire nuclear family are Republicans and vote conservative), but the Southern branch of my family are liberal democrats. Makes no sense.

I’ll be really interested to see the statistics on how Jewish Americans voted. My Jewish SIL is voting Republican for the first time in her life. She’s liberal on abortion and big government, but conservative on immigration and Israel. I’m glad some of your family is voting for McCain—dunno if any other in her family will.

No way will Massachusetts repeal its state sales tax. Even if the Referendum passes, the Mass S.Ct. is sure to find a reason to invalidate it.
