Karl Rove Projects Obama Victory @ 11:16 am by Hill Staff

Karl Rove, the Republican strategist who engineered two successful elections for George W. Bush, projected Barack Obama would win the Electoral College in his final election analysis.

Rove, who has been tracking the race with predictions throughout the cycle, estimated that Obama would win 338 electoral votes, while Republican nominee John McCain would win 200.

I think Rove is working some reverse psychology.

Yo Obamanoids. It’s a done deal, homies. No need to go stand in the rain. Pop another brew and keep watching your TIVO’d Eagles Redskins game! If you had a job, you might even feel guilty.

I see, so there is no reason for Democrats to go vte now, since their little Marxist squirrel has this ACORN already in the nest. In Philly, they get counted whether they go to the polls or not, so it’s time for Democrat voters west of Ohio to just sit back with a cold one and watch the returns roll in.

"Rove isn’t a fool, and I give his opinion some weight."

Karl Rove is going to be proven correct.

Look at it from another point of view: Karl Rove got that dithering idiot Bush elected twice! Not that I think poorly of George W. “Open Borders - More Government in our Lives” Bush, but facts are facts.

I voted for McCain/Palin today and I’m prepared for four hard years of Barack Obama redifining America. Let’s hope Barack fails in that mission.

I for one ain’t going to give up my core beliefs in freedom, private property and gun rights and I hope none of you FREEPERS become loyal lefties hoping Barack will give you goodies!

I voted today. And now it’s time to prepare for the next four hard years.

Karl Rove is now officially a bigger slimeball than Tom DeLay.

First he gave us one of the worst presidents of all time, George Bush.

And now, since McCain didn't ask him to help out on his campaign, he has decided to stick a knife in the back of his fellow Republicans.

Even if Rove is a good pollster and even if he is right, as a good Republican he should remain silent until after the election.

But like DeLay and all of the other parasites that attached themselves to the Republican party when it was bloating up like a drowned corpse, he was just in it for the power and glory.

I guess if he turns out to be right he might get some more politicking work in the future ... for whichever party gives him the most money.

Rove doesn’t conduct any polls. He has access to the same info we have. There’s nothing new here.

I think Rove is protecting his future income. He makes his money now from appearing on talk shows. If he says he’s for McCain, they view him as the typical partisan and don’t invite him on Meet the Press. If he says it’s going to Obama, then he has “insight” and has moved “beyond partisanship”, blah, blah, blah, and they invite him on the shows, like Powell, McClellan, etc.

It’s all about his future income. He doesn’t want to be kept off the gravy train.

Has Rove figured out where he’s going to apply for political sylum?

I’m sure he’s on the short list of state “enemies” to be frog-marched down Pennsylvania Aavenue in chains during the emeperor’s coronation. Along with Sean Hannity and Dick Morris.

I think it’s over. We are all wishful thinkers here, but this country is currently in the hands of uneducated and uninformed voters.

I’m done. I’m closing down. Exit polls shortly will show Obama winning big in Pennsylvania etc.

I have never been so down on the people in this country as I am now.

This doesn’t mean anything to me. I think well enough of Rove but he isn’t infallible. If he can read trends, he should have been helping W buck the horrible PR that is hung around his neck. Everyone has their limits.

I’m not buying it. Like everyone else in the media, Rove is putting all of his eggs in the pro-Obama pollsters’ basket. Rove is way over-rated.
