Karl Rove, the Republican strategist who engineered two successful elections for George W. Bush, projected Barack Obama would win the Electoral College in his final election analysis.
Rove, who has been tracking the race with predictions throughout the cycle, estimated that Obama would win 338 electoral votes, while Republican nominee John McCain would win 200.

Rove isn’t a fool, and I give his opinion some weight.
THis Tired OLD RCP average poll crap was posted yesterday !
Why are you trying to spread phony dismay ????
You know this is being heralded by the DUmmies.
Rove, you magnificent bastard!
This has only been posted about 18 times. Wish we had an Eyeore filter.
I for one am not mesmerized by Rove.
Rove made his prediciton based on available media polls.
Mr. Rove may have to eat those words...
gee thanks Karl
Schmidt might just take your place!!
ok...THAT’s a sock in the belly...what’s up with this?
I beg to differ with you. Karl Rove is a big fool. He is the reason that GWB has approval ratings in the teens.
He gave GWB a real bum steer on the amnesty issue and kissing up to the RATS.
He is one I turn off on a regual basis.
Karl Rove is trying to get a TV Show - and he wants to appear less biased.
Rove doesn’t have access to internal polls.
Got to love Karl Rove.
How many liberals and college kids will blow off voting because an Obama victory is inevitable???
Hopefully turnout is light in Philly and Northern Virginia where it is raining cats, dogs and hogs.
Fox needs to invest in a whole different bunch after the election....this group has to go....
DON'T GO WOBBLY FOLKS.....STAY IN THERE.....AND EXPECT A MIRACLE!
thanks for rallying the troops Carl.
No need for Dems to go vote if Rove says Barry Hussein has it in the bag...
why? he's using all the same silly polls that give them Dems a 10-point advantage to come up with his final map...
I agree.... but I will say I think he's dead wrong about Florida going Obama.
He was wrong in ‘06. Look at Congress.
