A FREEPER NOTE TO PUMAS
4 Nov 2008 | Blogger

Posted on 11/04/2008 5:47:34 AM PST by Blogger

To All PUMAs.

As a life-long conservative, I would just like to thank you all for your principled vote against Barack Obama. At this point in time, none of us knows what the day holds; but, even though I would never vote for her, I agree as do many Freepers, that Hillary was 'done wrong.'

We will likely fight you tooth and nail in 2012, regardless who our candidate is (hopefully Sarah); but, our hope is that if and when we win this election that this adminstration will show the world such respectable leadership that any thoughts of an Obama return will be but a distant memory. We look forward to taking on Hillary in 2012.

In the mean time, we ask that along with your vote you vote for a Republican congress. Some of our congress-critters even get on our nerves; but, they beat Reid-Pelosi. The new administration can not positively affect this nation if those two still retain their bully pulpits. So, help us send them down to minority status again, and then work with us to fix the economic woes and repair the divisive politics of the last 8 years.

We're not perfect. You're not perfect. But this year, we welcome you to the side of the right (even if it is just a smidge over center).

This morning I watched Lynn Rothschild on F&F. He is one bright, articulate and tough woman. She is a ‘face’ of the PUMAs. We should be proud to have her on board.

Then I watched the Clintons voting in Chappaqua. We’ll never know, but I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if Bill voted for McCain. He knows what the job entails, he learned the hard way. He can talk PU but methinks with him it’s mostly MA.

The 3 puma’s in my family just voted for the Mac.
Hope and pray McCain/Palin prevail.

I hope you are right. I saw a “sign” while on the road yesterday - lots of yards with many signs for Democrats running for local and state spots, but they didn’t display the Obama sign. Wonder why not???
Saw a couple with Democratic local candidate signs, then McCain sign in amongst them. Obviously a Dem household, but they had McCain’s sign right in the middle of the cluster.
I hope they were watching out their windows as I gave them a thumbs-up as I drove by.

"If McCain pulls it out today, when will the PUMA’s start plotting to destroy McCain ands Palin so Hillary has a chance in 2012? Tomorrow."

Don't disagree, but let's get McCain elected, then we will cross that bridge when we come to it. Today is more important than tomorrow.

The PUMAs are very real. I know 5, personally, in my immediate family. Just how huge their numbers are is the question.

Thanks for the report. Others are reporting similar findings. It eases my understandable skepticism that the movement has much to it. So yes, to PUMA's/Reagan Democrats - thanks for having the intelligence to recognize that Obama is far less qualified and reverse racism is in play due to many voting for him based solely on the color of his skin and his promises of Marxism. And that kind of voting moves the country nowhere.

THis PUMA worship is assinine. They don't like McCain, they hate Obama. They don't love Sarah, they hate Obama. We have virtually nothing in common with them concerning the issues of the day, they'd just as soon cut our throats as smile at us.

There is only one thing to say to a PUMA at this point...

THANKS FOR THE VOTES
SWEETIES

“Principled vote? They threw their party and maybe the election under the bus just so Hillary could get another shot at the oval office in 2012.

The PUMA’s are doing what they’ve always done, put everything second to their lust for power.

Sometimes I can’t believe how ignorant conservatives can be.”

I totally agree with this statement. Anyone who would support Hillary is not someone I want to be pals with. I still can’t stand the Clintons. I remember what they did to Republicans in the 1990s. I am glad to see them get their a**es handed to them. I don’t want Obami to win but I don’t think he is as corrupt and lecherous as Billary. And the interns will be safe as well under him or McCain.

As they say in “Wizard of Oz”. Ding Dong! The wicked witch is dead.

If there is nothing else to celebrate let’s celebrate that.

Somewhere a PUMA is reading this and smiling because they know for them this isn’t about doing right for the country, it’s doing right for Hillary.

I don’t think you have read all of the PUMAs info. Many of them genuinely love Sarah. Try to not borrow trouble when it may not be there.

Greta Van Susteren is a PUMA. She was very nice and respectful to the Palins. Loved them even.

Just give it time. We may have a friendly rivalry here, not state enemies.

What’s funny is all the whining from the PUMA’s about how underhanded and corrupt Obama and the dems were during the primaries, but these were the SAME TACTICS the Clintons engaged IN AGAINST US for 16 YEARS!

Does anyone here remember back that far?

Country first, not party.

The fact you would see it another way says a lot.

I still firmly believe this PUMA phenomenon is a fake. I think they have perpetrated a great fraud to give us (the conservatives) some confidence.

I do not believe the "PUMA Phenomenon" is fake. It may be that their numbers are fewer than many here believe, but I am convinced that those who call themselves PUMAs are voting McCain/Palin. I saw one on Greta last night. Greta was doing a story on some remarks that Hillary made that suggested that McCain is more qualified than the Obamunist. Greta took the line that it was terrible for Hillary to make such a remark about a member of her own party. The PUMA thought it was terrible that Hillary did not put "county first" and refuse to support Obama.

Some PUMAs probably oppose The One because they know Hillary! is washed up if he wins. Some oppose him because they know he will be a disaster for America.

I don't have a problem with that. Right now I welcome their support in defeating this far leftist. I always thought the battle would be us against the Hillary supporters. I welcome that contest the next time around. Right now the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Frankly, I'm embarrassed, because I've spent a lot of time recently on PUMA sites and they have been far more gracious than many on this side have been to them. As a Christian and a patriot, I find that shameful. And as a person who "came over from the dark side" I see the same awakening in many of them that I experienced myself. You certainly don't change hearts and minds by acting inhospitable.

They are not fake and it is not fair to discount all the work they have done on McCain's behalf. Every single vote united will make a difference....Republicans, Independents, Democrats, PUMAs, Christians, Catholics, Jews, etc.

Thank you PUMAs; Thank you all patriots who put their country first.

As an Original Reagan Democrat (read my FR profile) I want to THANK all the Democrats who were not taken in by Obama’s lies, distortions, and hypnotic like powers he has over masses, and were repulsed by his and his supporters vicious attacks against anyone who stands in his way, like Hillary, Palin, Palin’s children, Joe the Plumber, investigative journalist, etc. You demonstrated you can think for yourself, like so many of us did back in 1980. You guys and girls Rock!

I agree dems only give you once to get that nomination and get it done. If Obama is finished now, he's finished.

THis is my dedication to all you PUMA lovers. For those that would like to sing along with this ditty CLICK HERE

She cuts you once, she cuts you twice
But still you believe
The wound is so fresh you can taste the blood
But you don't have strength to leave

You've been bought, you've been sold
You've been locked outside the door
But you stand there pleadin',
With your insides bleedin',
'Cause you deep down want some more

When she says she wants forgiveness
It's such a clever masquerade
She's so good with her stiletto
You don't even see the blade
You don't see the blade

She cuts you hard, she cuts you deep,
She's got so much skill
She's so fascinating that you're still there waiting
When she comes back for the kill

You've been slashed in the face
You've been left there to bleed
You want to run away
But you know you're gonna stay
'Cause she gives you what you need

Then she says she needs affection
While she searches for the vein
She's so good with her stiletto
You don't really mind the pain
you don't mind the pain

She cuts you out, she cuts you down
She carves up your life
But you won't do nothng
As she keeps on cutting
'Cause you know you love the knife

You've been bought, you've been sold
You've been locked outside the door
But you stand there pleadin'
With your insides bleedin'
'Cause you deep down want some more

Then she says she wants affection
While she searches for the vein
She's so good with her stiletto,
You don't really mind the pain
You don't mind the pain
