I was the 2nd person in line here in my town here in S.E. PA. My friend was first. We were there at 5:45. The line was around the church by 6:30. When we left the booths (she and I were next to each other) casting votes 1 and 2, I looked at her and said.. Were winning!! :-) We hi-fived when we got outside.
Good luck all, hang in there.

Arrived in NE Philly voting poll at 7:02AM. Line was already growing. I think I was about thirty sixth to push the buttons.
At least I was not jumped by a bunch of local community organizers.

Voted at about 7:05 in the Lehigh Valley. Line was HUGE.
Think that is good for McCain. The guy next to me was fearful of Obama. At 7:00 about 140 people were in line.

Have to go vote after work here in southwest PA. My parents said the line was huge in their precinct this morning. Many people chirpping about McCain.

Fight Pennsylvania Fight! Our freedoms depend heavily on you guys getting out the McCain/Palin vote!!! Show the MSM where they can shove their flawed, agenda-driven polls.

I got there at 6:50, just like I did in ‘04. Went there before work.
In ‘04, at the same polling place, I was 3rd or 4th. This year I was 19th, and there were 25 people in line when I left around 7:07.
Please God, let McCain win.

Question.
I’ve observed in the past, Democrat supporters (with literature and signs) standing directly outside the door of the polling place.
What is Federal Law regarding the distance these campaign workers must keep from the polling place?
I just voted in Washington County SW Pa. We were a 50/50 county in 04. Lines was steady but not real heavy. What struck me is how easy it is to cheat. I volunteered my ID but don't think I needed it. The check you off their list at one desk and then send you off to another one to pick up the voting card. I think I probably could have went strait over and got the card without being questioned. I bet I could come back throughout the day sneak around the line and vote a couple of more times. Our whole voting process is like something from a third world country. I have no confidence in getting a fair result in Pa. I can't imagine what is going on in Philly. I think I'm going to find a bar thats open.

I believe it's 100 feet.
But when do rules apply to Democrats?

This time around, I will have my camera with me. Seems like it would be a nice post.

Hones, Washington County here, too. That was the same way it is done in my precinct. Very unreliable...especially with little old ladies running the tables. No offense to them, but they can’t keep their eyes on everything.

My wife and I voted this morning in SW Pennsylvania. The line was huge! It took us about 40 minutes to get thru the line. Looked like a lot of McCain supporters. I saw 2 McCain buttons on people in line and No Obama buttons. I was the 97th person to vote. The turnout is unbelievable. We need to out vote the Philly cheating machine!!!

Took an hour out of my evening last night to make phone calls. By the time I get out of work and vote tonight, the polls will be closed.
