It’s a great election eve pep talk from Hillbuzz, reminding us where things actually stand and getting us to look past the media crapola.
These PUMAs at HillBuzz are actually some gay guys in Chicago. (They thought it was hilarious when Rush Limbaugh, thinking they were women, read from their site and called them ‘babes’...lol) They have really been awesome through the whole campaign.
Frankly, they’re actually conservative enough that I really wonder what the heck they see in Hillary. I think they’re actually more conservative than a lot of ‘moderate’ Republicans.
There’s going to be so many political “geniuses” (O’Reilly included) eating crow after tomorrow that it will be placed on the endangered species list.

Last night I had the TV on in the background, as usual, and zerO was at a rally. He looked like he was angry, his brow lowered and his face set and grim. As he left the stage, he seemed in a hurry to get off and he didn’t seem to want to work the crowd. I watched him do a little shuck & jive dance step to get himself off without any more engagement. He had the tiniest of meager grimaces that was almost a smile and his head was down and away from the majority of the crowd.
This was prior to him receiving the news early this morning that his grandmother had died.
Today, I saw Bob Beckel on FNC. I have detested him for all the time I have been politically aware and I am familiar with his demeanor in various public situations. He was down. He kept his gaze on his notes. He tried to downplay today’s Fox Opinion Dynamics poll and immediately segued into the internals, spinning the importance of the early voters. I just had a gut feeling that he was having premonitions of all his other losses, once again, and, of course, he has had so many (lol).
Then I saw Mac and Sarah and Cindy and they were glowing! John looked 20 years younger and full of energy, even after his whirlwind of rallies. I am not sure I could have done it and I am 7 years younger than he is and probably in better shape.
All the stars seem to be in the process of alignment.
Please, God.

I want a lawyer-proof win in every state we take and enough EVs to discourage the donk litigation and *stolen* whines. NOT a squeaker and NOT a tie.
We need to hand them exactly what they wished on us. To make it even better, they are destroying their party. There is no way, IMO, they can unite even in 2-4 years after all the thuggery they have perpetuated in their own primary, let alone the fraud in the General. All those donks voting for McCain have to be able to see the Democrat Party for what it is.
Interesting observations. I doubt his demeanor was due to his dying grandmother. It seems that in later years, he really was not close to her and rarely visited. I think his demeanor is due to the polls.
Speaking of the polls, I know that both campaigns have their own polls. Unlike the MSM, these polls are very accurate and properly weighted. They may also have a feel for the number of democratic defections that are leaving Hussein to McCain. I think that is why Mac is happy and Hussein is not. If Hussein was truely leading right now, he would be enjoying every minute with warm smiles and elloquent speaches. I sounds like he is not doing that.
We are in Wisconsin. My husband’s office is on the same floor as that of a female Democrat attorney who is extremely active in the party and was a Hillary supporter.
He has mentioned that during the 2004 election, she was buoyant and energized and now she is as sour and withdrawn as she was when Kerry lost. We suspect she is a PUMA.
Their internal polling is good and DEMOCRATS disgusted with Obama will send Obama to a shocking defeat, not shocking to me though.
Dems are going to win it for us LS, the grass roots movements among dems for McCain is the untold story of the election. He won’t come close to the 89% support that Kerry got.

The rally was last night and I heard today that he was informed of his grandmother’s passing around 8 am today, so it wasn’t that. It definitely was the polls.
I have the sound off, most of the time, and in two places I can put on the closed captions and glance up to get the gist without having to listen, so I really notice the body language.
John’s body language is that of an eight-year-old the day before Christmas! The man is practically on springs!

I had thought the PUMAs were going to vote en masse for McCain/Palin, but apparently not. I mean think about it: if we got 9 million of those 18M Hillary voters, we’d be seeing better poll numbers.
Then I realized that a lot of women get pretty “catty” when it comes to supporting beautiful/successful women.
Remember that many of HIllary supporters were aging pant-suit-wearing women who saw themselves in Hillary, but don’t identify with a Palin-type hottie who’s smart and accomplished. In fact they are competitive with her. So I think we can’t expect to get an overwhelming influx of HIllary women voting for McCain Palin - as much as I would hope...

In the event of a McCain win, I'm less concerned about lawyers and more concerned about rioters. Still, I agree with you--I want a clear, convincing McCain victory. I don't want to wait five weeks to know the winner.
