In the last week I have had folks tell me (off the public record) they are voting McCain or already have.

The one very rare McCain yard sign is here

McCain/Palin 08

Yes absolutely there is hope, provided everyone does vote! The polls are a joke, the PUMA’s are well organized and are backing McCain, Palin has energized the base, Obama’s mask is falling away and more are seeing his true agenda...

Don't let it get to you just go vote.

Here in Phoenix, our phone banks are pounding out calls to New Mexico. McCain voters are outpolling 0bama on our GOTV.

No matter what you hear, Arizona is safe. Campaign spending but little funds and 0bama has ads on every commercial. While they have made some inroads, the $$$ is better spent in Penn., Va., Florida.

Arizona high country safely for McCain.

Just do not give ground to 0bama folks, keep fighting, get voters out, do not fall for the dribble that the election is over. The MSM will tell us we are losing based on exit polls, don't believe them and keep pounding away until the last vote is cast in your state.

Never give up, never call retreat.

FWIW, the EXIT POLLS for 2004 showed turnout for Dems and Republicans even at 38%. The assumptions by the pollsters now have an assumption that Dems will vote with a 6-10% greater likelihood than Republicans.

http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/pages/results/states/US/H/00/epolls.0.html

VOTE BY PARTY ID TOTAL Democrat Republican
Democrat.....................(38%)..........90%...........9%
Republican...................(38%)..........7%...........93%
Independent.................(25%).........49%..........46%

Voter turnout of Conservatives is key

Absolutely, pray though. Our country still needs God’s mercy. Although the election will be a landslide for McCain. The polls were awful. If we are tied on some, we must be up by 10-15 pts.

This election the fourth estate gladly transitioned themsleves into the fifth column enemy of We The People. The normal job of the press, to vet the candidates for us so that we vote with full information on the individuals, was subverted willingly by these bastards, to cover up the facts about their beloved little Marxist squirrel. I join you in your sentiment regarding these enemies calling themselves ‘journalists.’

I’ll say one thing about the polls this election season. If it turns out that McCain wins easily, then I will never, ever trust the media or pollsters again

Yeah, there is always hope. Whenever someone tells me that this is it, this will be the biggest blowout in history, you might as well give up, I have to look at it and say.....

I have been paying attention this time. I was dispirited in 06 and had no passion. This time I am back. I haven't believed a word that the MSM has said, and low and behold it has all turned out to be the BS we knew it was. Anyway, I have been paying attention and reading the polls (the real ones not the ones by the MSM, and I can't figure out who is ahead, so if I am being objective (and I am) how can Obama have a landslide in the making? Answer, he can't. The race is close and it will take every one of us to show up and vote. So, if for no other reason but to drive the liberal a$$wipes that man the outside of the polling areas crazy, I am throwing off any depression I feel about how unfair this election has been. You know why???? Because it is always going to be unfair. The libs are bullies and we are the nice kids on the block. Guess what, tired of being the pushover, looking to kick some a$$! Get out and vote and sit back and watch it happen knowing you did you part! God Bless,

TMac

I feel the same way- kick this evil marxists (media and Oduma)

Reagan and Carter Stand Nearly Even in Last Polls; Differences on War Issue Reagan and Carter Stand Almost Even in Final Polls Effects of the Debate Male-Female Preferences Catholics and Conservatives Fears About the Economy The New York Times/CBS News Poll.

The very next DAY Reagan defeated Carter 51-41%..a 10 point defeat and an electoral college landslide victory....yet the last polls showed the race a tie.

Do what you will with polls....they have been wrong more often than not...

But when has every poll been wrong dammit

This year, during the Dim's primaries, in many important states. 0bama almost always underperformed the poll numbers. The main example is in NH. Yes, at the time there's Operation Chaos. However, we have PUMA this time around.

I am really tired of the anti-McCain BS coming from the Monday Night Football announcing crew....talk about bias

The last estimate I saw was 28% of Hillary supporters (PUMAs) are backing McCain. How that breaks down by state, not sure. It may be addressed at hillaryclintonforum.com. You can peruse, just not register. I am a regular there, too.
