An obligatory pep talk for the 16-hour holding pattern we momentarily find ourselves in.
We got a real good shot at catching the guy, says Mark Salter.

Reports are coming out that Mark Salter is giddy today — that means GREAT news for McCain/Palin because Salter is not a giddy person.
OH YEAH, WE’RE GONNA WIN THIS ELECTION!!!! YES WE ARE!!!!!
The polls have been rigged and manipulated by the liberals! Boy, are they gonna be shocked tomorrow! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Everyone, VOTE and PRAY your butts off!!!!!
JOHN & SARAH!!!!
JOHN & SARAH!!!!
JOHN & SARAH!!!!
MCCAIN-PALIN’08!!!
Who is Mark Salter!
I sure hope so... everyone is saying it is done and over but I think they are going to be even more surprised than they were in 2004

Well, I never like to hear about “catching” someone the day before an election, nonetheless “a real good shot” at it. That sounds like someone who either thought this was over and is shocked to find out that it isn’t or realizes that no more can be done and has stopped cramming for that final exam hoping euphoria carries him over the line.
Either a genius or the manager of the worst run campaign in history. I’m praying for the former. We will know tomorrow.
That’s absolutely fantastic news!! Who is Mark Salter!!
Now, he was supposed to lead by 10, 15, even 20 points. There was supposed to be massive African American "early vote" turnout, but he's only up 48-47 in "early" voting?
Man, I bet Salter is giddy. He realizes that McCain just won the election, and likely won it pretty big, perhaps 52-48. If Obama can't get above 48 in the early voting (remember, no absentees can be "exit polled!---and they outnumber the earlies, and they tend to go heavy R), then he's in for a drubbing.
Am I wrong on this??
where have you heard this re: Salter?
If I'm correct, these and other exit polls are among those willing to tell who they voted for, which isn't a high percentage anyway.
Don't let this stop you, get out and vote.
Well, I never like to read the tortured analogies of unenthusiastic naysayers.
Nope...I don't think you are. If Obama can't get any better than 48% in the early voting...where you'd expect his most enthusiastic voters would have turned out...then he most likely won't get above 48% tomorrow.
I just went and voted for Sarah Palin and John McCain. I was so proud to be able to vote for a woman (a Pro life woman) I live in New York so I don’t know if it will help McCain but it sure helped me.
Gee my cat looks so nervous tonight she must be picking up my vibes.
Tomorrow, after I vote, I will hold McCain/Palin signs outside my precinct.
PRAY PRAY PRAY
McCain’s closest advisor.....possibly McCain’s Chief of Staff when he wins.
