After a McCain rally on Sunday that more than halved his lead, Obama is back to where he was headed into the weekend. Independents made the difference, swinging back to Obama and giving him an 11-point advantage with this key group. Final results available on IBDeditorials.com at midnight Monday.

He loses with these numbers. I hope these are right and the others are wrong.

Obama at 47.5 is very bad news for the Dems. I hope that he’s really that low.

Guess this poll won’t be the closest this time around...

9.5% undecided? I believe they will break for McCain, but will they show up to vote?

Independents swung back to Obama in the space of TWO days? BS.

After all the money and all the hype and all the intimidation, the historically most accurate poll gives Obama less than 48%.
I think it’s probably a little better than this for McCain, but even if THIS is accurate, I agree.
Obama loses.

McCain has won the election.

Well, the RCP Average was off in 2004 and so I would expect it to be off again this year.

Is this their final poll? Why all the undecideds? They didn’t have undecideds in 2004 in the last poll - it was something like Bush 50.1 Kerry 48.

9.5% undecided? I believe they will break for McCain, but will they show up to vote?IMO based on this poll and some of the key state polls that is what this will come down to, whether these people vote on election day or sit this one out. Here is praying that they decide that voting for McCain to protect the country from a Marxist like Obama is the best option.
