breaking....

Last week they only favored dems by 2-points. Why the need to suddenly shift to +7 dems? The move allows the opportunity to form the impression that Obama has surged. It’s a lie!
Reminds me of the stock markets this fall—no real indication of the performance of a company...
Nov. 1, 2004, It was only a 3 point lead for Kerry
For what its worth, the final Fox poll had Kerry up in 2004.
That’s not right. The polls had Kerry up until the last weekend- then Bush pulled ahead. No major polling group had Kerry winning the election on the final day of polling.
Obama's lead among those who say they have already voted has almost disappeared. He has a 1-point edge -- just 48-47 percent -- in this latest poll, down from a 52-43 percent lead previously (Oct 28-29).
Consign these >5% polls to the flames, this election is not 1992, 1996 redux.
I have been watching the non verbals of their poll Director everytime she rolls out the numbers. She was positively giddy about the fact that in her poll Obama had hit 50% for the first time. I haven’t seen any evidence that Fox polls have any kind of accuracy. I want to see what IBD says this afternoon.
Which means that they were off by 6 points, as Bush won 51-48. So even if you don't factor in their +7 Democrat weighting and very wacky internals that I cited then a similar miss of the mark would put McCain right there for a repeat of 2000 type election.

Breaking my foot! The polls are broken.
The real telling part of that poll has to do with the already voted category. Check it out, 1 point difference. White Catholics and White Women are breaking to McCain.
GOOD CATCH! A very silver lining in that cloud...
the 9am infoblond is also pissed b/c palin cancelled an interview with her.
INstead of her thnking LONG term about an interview with the actual VP she threw a snit around 9:30 in the am.
From your keyboard to God's eyes . . . . . I pray it will be so. I'm SICK of these polls being substituted for real news!!!
He was wrong, sort of, he lost 51-49 the next day. I don't why this reminds of that. If McCain is within 6 or 7 points he still has a shot.
By the way, Wilson Goode beat Rizzo, became mayor and burned about a 1/10th of the damn city down! Later he was reelected.
We’re working to shrink that spread. Doing GOTV full-time for four days in Fairfax, Virginia. Met a couple other freepers who were doing phones. (Sorry I didn’t get screennames.)
Go to foxnews.com and look at their picture of McCain and Obama....
WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gallup had Kerry up by two amount their RV model, and FOX absolutely had Kerry up the Monday before the election in 2004 by a couple of points.
That is what’s noteworthy because many more Dems than Republicans have voted...which can only mean that many Dems are voting (or at least say they’re voting) for McCain.
