Your first thought is that I am drunk on Kool-Aid when you see this title. I am going to show you why I am so sure about this prediction. Your next question is why should anyone pay any attention to me about such a ridiculous prediction. The answer is that in 45 years in politics, I have never been wrong about an election call even when I was called crazy. That includes get elected to office to prove I was right about winning an election. See my biography for details. I have to be very sure to risk a 45 year reputation so remember that you read it here first.

I have no idea if this analysis is valid or not- but your reason is possibly flawed. Pumas have from the beginning said they would tell pollsters they were going to vote Obama. I have no idea why this is part of their strategy, but it is.
“Now, thats encouraging.
My impression is that more Dems are crossing over by far than Republicans. A lot of older Dems will vote McCain, likewise a lot of blue-collar Dems, just as a cultural thing. Most of the sit-it-out Repubs have been convinced to vote. Most of the non-political evangelicals have been convinced to vote, and most of them will go McCain. McCain will do slightly better among jewish voters than Bush did last time.”
In my opinion, when someone calls asking for you to tell who you’re voting for, you may feel ashamed to say McCain. If someone calls supporting McCain asking for you to vote for him, you will be more than happy to talk to them. That’s my opinion, and I dunno how much weight it will hold, but it makes sense to me.
FTR...I was not attempting to be condescending by any of my posts.
I never post anything interesting enough for someone to want to duplicate. lol
Thank you for the advice. It was the best reply I got - yet. I will lean back and wait till the Nov. 5th. I hope you do the same.
Thank you
Sir , my wife told me to set things straight. I’m an Obama supporter - but I wrote my comment out of my own convition. I know the candidates only out of the media.
Excuse my poor English.
What McCain has to offer is far better than the disaster that would happen if Obama were to be sworn in as president. McCain’s presidency would not be ‘a continuation of the last 8 years”. By the way, Bush was a better president than people give him credit for and McCain will be far better than Obama.
Ask many of the Cubans living in Florida what they think of Obama. They recognize Obama’s rhetoric. They heard it in Cuba. They know socialism when they see it.
And I agree with another poster here - stick around, read and learn.
Welcome to Free Republic!
Thank you for your honesty.
You might find that if you spend a few hours on here and learn the TRUTH about Obama (as opposed to the misconceptions spread by the media), that you would no longer support Obama.
Easy money to be made on intrade.com.
I was listening to a Podcast of an liberal internet radio show today, "The Faulking Truth X2". Faulk stated something about certain folks not voting for Obama because, like you said, "Who'd vote for a Muslim after 9/11?" He then went on to say, "Using that logic, who'd vote for an ex-military guy after the OKC bombing?"
His comparison is flawed. I wonder why he and other libs like him can't see that many (if not all) factions of Islam teach their followers to hate infidels? In fact McVeigh was their friend, too.
GHW Bush did not continue the great eight years he preceded as VP, hence is failing bid at re-election. There is no indication whatever that Al Gore would have continued the exact policies that were propounded by the eight years of Clinton, in fact, he was proposing many changes. Sen. McCain isn't even the sitting vice-president! You people who continue to spout this "continuation" folderol demonstrate that you truly do not understand how this country works, stupid foreigner or stupid citizen alike.
Yep. I see Obama winning with 278 and winning 0 Southern states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin.
Great Post!
PLEASE tell your other friends who are Dems the same thing you are telling us.
18 million voted for Hillary, McCain only needs about a half a million PUMAs.

Sir - I’m a thick head (my relatives over here and in the US can testify that). So we can have a discussion about politics. You have your point of view and I have mine. That is ok.
Have a good time (privatly) - regards.
I’ll take that “stupid foreigner”
You confuse me: is Sen McCain the candidate for VP? Who is the candidate for president?
You are confusing the fact that Sen. McCain running as a Republican with the idea that merely BECAUSE he is a Republican, he intends to continue with the policies of the previous president, G. W. Bush, also a Republican.
I mentioned the vice-presidents in recent history who ran for president after their term as vice-president, point out that GHW Bush lost his bid for re-election because he failed to continue the popular policies of his Republican predecessor, and Al Gore, who made comments to indicate he would not be continuing the policies of his Democrat predecessor. If these men were not continuing the policies of the administration that they actually were a part of, why do you, an admitted 0bama supporter, and 0bama himself, constantly try to say a senator who happens to be of the same party would push four more years of an administration he is NOT a part of? A McCain Administration would not look like a Bush Administration, different people, different agenda, different philosophies regarding government spending, to name just three.
It is nothing more than error to continue to believe and repeat the idea that just because Sen. McCain is Republican, his administration will be no more than a carbon copy of the last administration. I hope this clarifies my point to you.
“Sen. McCain isn’t even the sitting vice-president!”
I thought he is the presidential candidate - that is confusing me.
Im not that stupid as I told you - I beg your pardon.
Typo - sorry
we can’t have a political discussion. It doesn’t make sense :).
Thank you for your answer.
The most you said I accept. But - but this election is a break-up of the normal elections. It is nothing you are used to.
You, the republicans, didn’t find a recipe to fight Obama. He was fair, calm and practical. It is an election-style that is very unusually for Americans.
I beg your pardon - my time has come. It is ten o’ clock in the evening over here and I’m an old man (70years :) )
Regards to you
