These are numbers given to him by a regular called named "Carl from Ohio" who claims to be a part of the RNC or the McCain campaign. They are to be taken with a boulder of salt.
I will say though, that if you were in a political vacuum somewhere and had no knowledge whatsoever of what Gallop, Rassmussen, etc. said the polls were, these numbers would make perfect sense to you.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
thats definitely a different guy.. the poll numbers you show have mac way ahead in PA., the numbers quoted by this guy is one ahead in PA.
According to the conversation that Charlie Black had with reporters on Saturday on McCain’s campaign plane, the campaign itself stopped polling after Thursday night because all their ad buys had to be done by Friday.
I’m not dismissing that these could be from before they stopped polling or from the party proper and not the campaign. And if my belief that most or all of the undecideds in the IBD/TIPP Poll are really McCain votes, these numbers could be a reality, but it is just that, a belief.
It will not become a fact until Tomorrow Night.
I do believe it’s closer than the MSM wants us to think, but this is just preposterous.
FL numbers are what I have been heariang for sometime and what Fred Thompson said it would be in FL several weeks ago.
For the last few days, info coming out of Michigan via the 527 that camped out there after McCain left has been showing the same info that the race in Michigan has closed.
Having talked to union members in Minnesota, it would not surprise me. They are not Obama’s biggest fans and in fact most have had affirmative action shoved right down their throat with unqualified people being promoted because they were black.
If you would have asked me a month ago, I would have told you union members that I would be talking with would have been against Hispanics, but that is not what I am hearing. Looks like some black supervisors have been a wee bit of shoving it with Obama running. (Understatement) Never in my life have I had calls like the last week and I have been calling for GOP candidates for years and years.
There is something brewing across America and it is going to be the votes of the person when he goes in that voting booth tomorrow. If my calls are even halfway on the mark as to how people feel, then it is going to be a very nice evening tomorrow.
Do the hosts know who “Carl from Ohio” is, or is this some crank getting his jollies by doing this nonsense?
Believe me...nothing would make me happier, but those numbers do not comport with so much we see...
Here is what he reported based upon supposedly internal GOP polling:
PA: M - 52, O - 40
NJ: O - 47, M - 45
MI: M - 45, O - 44
VA: M - 53, O - 42
CO: M - 50, O - 44
MO: M - 49, O - 42
FL: M - 52, O - 44

Sadly, when I was able to listen to a short snippet finally of this Karl character, it doesn’t only give me pause, it gives me hives.
It doesn’t sound like this guy would know anything.
And yesterday McCain said PA is within reach but is 2 points down. Now why would he say 2 points down and not just flat out they will win PA if they were anywhere near double digits in the lead?
Can understand trying to keep belief going into the polls but this is over the top.
Please let me be wrong. I’d love to be wrong and PA is in the bag!
These numbers are nonsense, absolute nonsense. Anybody that believes these numbers is completely out of touch with reality. It’s one thing to be enthusiastic and hopeful but come on people. “Carl” from Ohio is now our source?
MI +1 makes absolutely no sense.
Carl from Ohio is smoking crack. No way is McCain +12pts in PA.
See #14. Dare we dream?
