Barack Obama's story, spanning from his mother's roots in Kansas to his father's in Kenya and his childhood spent in Hawaii and Indonesia, has been well chronicled and a central part of his allure as a candidate who transcends national and racial lines.

But one small part might have remained largely hidden from public view. In a first-floor apartment of a brick public housing complex on a side street in South Boston lives a woman who city officials believe is Obama's aunt. Her name is Zeituni Onyango, as in the "Auntie Zeituni" in one of his books, a polite and playful resident with an accent that recalls a more exotic place than where she is now.

She has shunned public attention and made little fuss over Obama's meteoric rise from modest means to the near pinnacle of American politics. But word has been spreading among those in her building.

William McGonigle, deputy director of the Boston Housing Authority, said Onyango told agency officials earlier this week that she is Obama's aunt.

McGonigle said Onyango has been a resident of public housing for several years. She has worked for the agency as a resident health advocate, receiving a small stipend. He said she had hoped to avoid attention resulting from the campaign.

The Obama campaign declined to comment or acknowledge a relationship.

Federal Elections Commission records show Onyango donated at least five times to the Obama campaign in July and September of this year. Three of the donations were for $5 apiece, and two of the donations were for $25. She listed her job as a volunteer resident health advocate.

Thats why I'm not going to be too concerned if he gets enough morons to vote him in.

It will be fun to watch him and his fellow socialists be destroyed, 2 years into it they will be out on their red rear ends just like in '94.

It does seem like we’re doing Obama a favor by voting for McCain. Obama is in way over his head. It’s pretty evident by now that, despite what he’s said about this the past week, that he’s a Marxist.

Mugabe, Castro, Chavez, etc are all over their heads in the actually running of their respective countries. Ruining them the have down pat.

It will ugly for everyone if Obama is elected. It will be really ugly for us reactionary class enemies when he blames us for the spectacular failure of his pea brained policies.

If McCain-Palin win the election, the rest of the Obama life story and his relationships with leftists in our midst should come to light so NOTHING LIKE THIS EVER HAPPENS AGAIN !

She also said that she “couldn’t talk about anything until after Nov. 4.”

Now why would she say that? Why can’t she talk about anyhting she wants—it’s a free country? (Even for illegal aliens.)

...Because the Obama campaign told her to keep quiet? The same campaign that denies that that knew about her or her legal status?

He has an interview with Katie Couric tomorrow am and pm - check out their website- she asks him about Auntie. He dates we are a nation of laws. OOPS! Somehow he lost track of her after she was at his Senate 2004 swearing in ceremony then lost her request to stay. Another one under the bus for Obama. The gift that keeps on giving!!!!Hopefully his “early voters” will start celebrating monday and not think they have to stand in line to vote like I will on Tuesday. Early voting is for sissies. I like the thrill of the wait. Pass out whiskey bottles and sedatives instead of 5 bucks - the regrouping starts wednesday morning for voter fraud reform and getting conservative candidates ready like in 94! See y'all on Tues

she added, "I'm praying for you, not only him."

The [incompetent] Globe failed to mention who she was praying to, God or allah, along with failing to mention her immigration status.
