Yes ... except all those snakes freaked me out. But I loved the birds, especially the hummingbirds!

They have a fantastic enclosure for the hummers, don’t they? You walk in, and you’re immersed in hummingbirds. The vegetation is lush, the flowers are gorgeous, and the hummingbirds are too numerous to count.

We have another site for them down here in Sierra Vista - laurenmarlowe visited here once. The Ramsey Canyon Preserve is a world-class birdwatching location that has hummingbirds all the time. It’s also great for seeing deer, javelina, coatimundi, and the occasional bear.

Good evening, Taz...((HUGS))...hope your weekend was good and your Sunday has been quiet. How is Mr Kitty doing? And the girls? Are they feeling neglected?

I spent today catching up on multiple neglected projects. I’ve done very well and continue, hopefully to complete them all.

Call in advance...the B&B in the canyon books up fast.

Of course, there are others in the area. But it isn’t quite the same.

Aloha Night Owl!

It snowed up on Mauna Kea just a few days ago. It was light but a big surprise and caused some of the Astronomers to wop their jaws. They bid for time on the telescopes years in advance and if the weather is inclement, their time is lost.

Snow....does it come with any regularity? Do the bidders bid for a regular “prime time”?

I’m ready....it is now 10 degrees. I leave for California in just over 3 weeks and I hope we have snow by then. If not, it won’t be the first time I’ve left with no snow.
