Glass houses... stones.
So, Brilliant, perhaps you could enlighten us on Alcee Hastings?
katiekins1... from Wisconsin. ‘Nuff said.
Is there anyone here who hasn’t had a whacko representing them?
In case you haven’t figured it out yet, Bozo the Clown with a -D after his name would get half the votes.
It’s not just Minnesota...

Yes, that is true... Although it is one thing for Miami to elect Alcee Hastings as a Rep., and another thing for a whole state to elect Franken as a Senator. I can assure you that Hastings will never be elected Senator in Florida.

Good point.
And one more backtrack: as far as I know(?), Arizona has never had any real whackos.
They may be the one exception to the rule.

“Comments or opinions - anyone?”

There are a lot of Democrats and liberal-leaning Independents in Minnesota who are viscerally anti-Bush, but simultaneously anti-Franken. Dean Barkley was getting a lot of them, but they are now drifting towards Norm Coleman, though grudgingly so.

I think that Coleman will survive, though not by much.

I respect Lieberman.
But what did WE do to deserve Dodd?

As I said, the list goes on. Mass., is pretty bad. I don’t think anyone has been as effectively negative for the country as Ted Kennedy. Exhibit A is the ‘65 Immigration Act.

Too bad you took offense to my comment. I'm aware of the loosers Wisconsin has voted in. You need to chill.

That piece of legislation was the catalyst to the breakdown on our nation - no doubt about it.

From beyond the grave, Michael O’Donoghue makes an endorsement:

“Vote for Coleman. I say this not because I’m a conservative. I’m not. I just want to make Franken cry one more time.”

And you need to realize if you’re going to fire off smart a$$ comments, you can most likely expect them in return.

Again. If you took my comment personally it would be your problem. All I did was state a fact. It was not a flippent comment. I'm moving on to more important things. Its not fair to others in this community to read something so minuscule. Thanks Katie

I also only stated a fact.
You’re from Wisconsin.
If you took it personally...

All states do have problems with fraud; but it seems our brethren in Wisconsin have more trouble with that, possibly bubbling up from the windy city in part.

I’d think, McCain himself is rather strong in Minnesota: Northeast (Nordeast I know) Mpls. probably has enough support but I think for some reason it’s the rest of the city that gets liberal.

One takes St. Paul and the rest of Minnesota and I’ve got to think they are largely right in their thinking.

I agree with you. Its all the Milwaukee and Madison Liberals that make the majority. The rural smaller towns are McCaine Palen supporters. But your analogy is correct.

Does everyone remember the theme song to that movie 2001 A Space Odyssey ?

One thing that Franken did on his Air America show was have a rendition of it and the horns and all were all out of tune and it sounded hilarious; it was when he would go through some sort of list. Perhaps it is on youtube. I listened to his show and Ed Schultz’s too a few times. Just to hear what they were saying, but that one part was funny. Too bad, he didn’t stick to straight humor in good taste.

This is the senate race hardest to call.

I expect something like 43-42 Coleman.
