Having followed this issue for some time and as an attorney with some experience in complex multi jurisdictional litigation, I can tell all of you that an effective challenge is likely to consume a significant amount of money and involve sophisticated legal management and work.
The good news is that it appears that some deep pockets are involved--so far, I don't see any signs of the kind of legal horsepower it takes to get this to court.
On the other hand, the kind of lawyers who would be effective in this kind of litigation would not normally make a stop with the press on the way to the courthouse. So we will see.
