Obama Camp Enraged over Wright Ad; Over $8 Million Raised
GOPtrust.com ^ | Nov 2,2008 | Scott Wheeler

Message from The National Republican Trust PAC
From Scott Wheeler

Dear Supporter:

We have now raised over $8 million in our final emergency effort to stop Barack Obama.

I can tell you that the Obama campaign is absolutely enraged by our activities and our new ad reminding voters of the close relationship between Rev. Wright and Obama.

Two of the major TV networks have temporarily suspended our ad because of complaints by the Obama campaign. They have complained about the pictures used in the ad depicting Obama and Rev. Wright.

Our legal team is fighting back. We expect to be back on the air!

Other pro-Obama supporters are claiming Obama was not really that close to Rev. Wright and that we are exaggerating the relationship.

The facts: Obama has stated that he was converted to Christianity by the Rev. Wright in his late 20s. Previous to that, as a child Obama had been raised by his stepfather as a Muslim.

Obama has described the Rev. Wright as a mentor, friend and advisor. His description, not ours.

Obama stated he could not reject Rev. Wright any more than he could reject the Black Church.

Again, his words, not ours.

All of Obama's attacks indicates this ad is having a powerful effect.

We are planning a final, major effort Monday night on television in key swing states and on Tuesday morning.

Anything you can contribute today will help our important cause.

Time is absolutely critical. Help us defeat Obama — Go Here Now.

Thank you.

Scott Wheeler
Executive Director

P.S. Don't believe the polls. The AP recently asked poll respondents if they really were undecided and might still switch their vote. One in 7 — nearly 15% — said they still really hadn't decided. This means the election can still be won by McCain. Obama can be defeated. You can help us make that happen by Going Here Now or call our donor hotline at 1-866-957-1467.

Aside from General Electric products (they own PMSnbc, right?) is there a list of those who run ads on these media outlets? Or is there one someone can direct me to?

I am really interested in a massive boycott of those who support this pro-socialist-Obama B.S.

I am not kidding, I am at the point where I’d rather wash my clothes on a rock at the river and catch/eat squirrel rather than watch my country commit freedom suicide.

Of course, I might BE washing at the creek and eating roadkill if that freak and his Borg followers steal this election.

McCain is an idiot.

McCain is NOT an idiot. His choice of Sarah Palin was both courageous and brilliant. It was a bold act of genius that will win him this election.

There are still a lot of undecideds.

There are still a lot of people telling pollsters they're 'undecided'. ;o)

Please, please do not trash McCain this weekend on FR. .... LouisianaJoanof Arc

The enemy is at the gate and we are down to the final two and a half days in the battle where we will or will not allow the White House to be won by Barack Obama and his Marxist comrades.

At least until this battle is over next Tuesday, all McCain bashers should read the writing on the Claymore.

We disagree on that one. I fear the so-called “righteous wind” at Obama’s back smells like cow flatulence.

That is trashing McCain? Pointing out the obvious. McCain was unwilling to run the campaign that it takes to win.

Yeah and if you bring it up it`s ``dishonorable campaigning``, it`s `gutter` politics.

Meanwhile, Obama and the Democrats are taking in hundreds of millions in untraceable and most likely illegal contributions, registering illegal voters, casting illegal ballots, trashing Bush/McCain with no response from McCain. And McCain can't even play a Rev. Wright video. A man who is Obama's mentor and pastor for Obama for over 20 years, who has a ideology that in my view is to the left of Louis Farrakhan.

It’s all so surreal. Nothing about this campaign has been right and it’s become downright frightening.

Ditto that. I believe we are witnessing a political coup

I fully supported the Palin choice. But McCain has run an awful campaign the last 30 days. Awful. If it wasn't for Joe the Plumber, McCain would have been toast by now.

Too bad this group didn’t start their work 3-9 weeks ago.

My thoughts exactly. The time to go with the truth here was when the 'rats went obscene against SarahPalin. Instead the idiot GOP let her hang in the wind and take all manner of filthy shots without so much as firing off a complaint much less a counterattack. Then they sent her into the rat lions' den of the msm for trap interviews. Stupid people. The Republican Party has not served the American people this election.

It’s completely nuts. I hope we can avoid another civil war and I’m serious. The polarization is at fever pitch. Yeah, what a uniter zero is. The country is being torn apart. The media is in for some major reckoning, it has to be.

Nothing dishonorable about saving our country. It’s the “honorable” country club republicans that have allowed the media and schools to indoctrinate a couple generations of American children.
