I think your x is correct. Even in Denver there is more enthusiasm than before. I wrote last week that I have yard signs in my neighborhood that say “Another Democrat for McCain” in their yard. That’s a first. My own yard sign has not been stolen this year, as happened in 2000 and 2004. That indicates, to me anyway, that there is more trepidation over voting Obama than there was for either Gore or Kerry.

I will also repeat. Early voting may be showing more Democrats voting then in years past but that does not mean they are voting for Obama.

It is difficult to reconcile the polls to what we are seeing first hand here. Yes, blacks and the more radical Democrats will vote for Obama but is real support there? Maybe I’m wearing blinders but I don’t see it.

I doubt Rush would have anyone on that often but I would bet he would love to have her on. I’m adding O’Reilly, Hannity, Levin and all the others to it. Heck, even a lot of FOX & Friends.

Wow Bray great job, excellent take on the DBM.

Thank God they are in a destruction mode, have been for a while and don't seem to care if they go all the way down.We can assist them on blaming it on the internet which is free.

They are a lot like Joe Biden in a way, overall, they remain the gift that keeps on giving.

As long as their bottom line keeps shrinking, they keep losing other drivers-by and the country keeps lurching our way,the future remains ours.

Øbama in Ohio admitting that government will have to tighten it’s belt, Limbaugh said Øbama would try to lower expectations, (w)right again! Øbama “it won’t be easy, it won’t be quick “, he just didn’t truthfully say it won’t be under Jimmy Carter policies either, these folks would lose even if Øbama gets in, ashame they’ve wasted all that energy

I agree with almost all of your post except this bit and it might even give you your answer:

How has this Industry become so disenfranchised from it’s customer base?

We aren't their customers. We, or our eyeballs, are the product that they sell to their real customers, the advertisers.  So far the advertisers are still shelling out, but in radically reduced amounts, at least for news shows.

After the election watch GE dump NBC and  for CBS, CNN and ABC News to get radically downsized.  Disney continues to get value from the rest of ABC as an outlet for their productions. I fully expect MSNBC to close down during 2009.  I'm convinced that GE has been propping up NBC as part of a plan to convert their business into a government mandated green tech monopoly. Electing Democrats would be a big part of that.

When we had HBO, they use to have Postman Pat on, then they dropped it. I loved that show. Not a kids show or cartoon lover, but I did enjoy that show. I miss it.

I saw on Fox News Wells Fargo is sponsoring the election?
Wha? AND offering their workers to the polls.

You know what that means right?

I would like to see Sarah Palin showing up on all these shows, either as our current VP and/or Alaska Governor. Either way, it helps establish her credentials as well as her credibility in the future.

Keep in mind too, starting Wednesday, November 5th, we have to start our 2012 election campaign. Damn the congress where they screw up and support Republican efforts to stifle more government programs and spending. Just defeating the latest version of Hillary Care alone will take some doing and that means we have to start now firing up voters so we can put pressure on congress.

Sounds encouraging.

I’ve not seen a single Mc/Palin sign anywhere around here. 2004 there were lots of W signs. But I’ve seen only 1 bumper sticker for O. Ne is heavy Red but my circle is not enthused with Mc but all are against O.

They obfuscate re: voter regs not being fraud.

What I know is they had busloads in several states staying to get licenses to participate in same day voting... not to mention some states had ‘days’ of early voting.

Guess when the fraud votes will be figured out and guess if they will still count. When Obama started cheating in Iowa, the AG, FEC and justice should’ve been on it. Not to mention the Nevada fiasco. We can’t let them
buy this election.

New poll in, and, IIRC, this was supposed to be one of the more reliable ones in the past. Looks like McPalin has McMentum (hopefully nationally and especially in the battleground states and all the undecideds go to McPalin - - fingers crossed and prayers up). Everyone needs to vote and drag someone w them to vote R:

IBD/TIPP: O-46.7, M-44.6, U-8.7 (McCain gains 2.4 points!)

Day 21: IBD/TIPP Tracking Poll

The race tightened again Sunday as independents who’d been leaning to Obama shifted to McCain to leave that key group a toss-up. McCain also pulled even in the Midwest, moved back into the lead with men, padded his gains among Protestants and Catholics, and is favored for the first time by high school graduates.

In the interview when Obama was talking to an npr babe about his views on the Supreme Court, the Constitution and Civil Rights - he was talking to a friendly audience about his own beliefs and opinions - he had NO ums and uhs. He spoke perfect English, without even any ‘southren’ endings to his words.

Yep, let’s hope the fear of getting caught will be enough to deter some to not try it, though some are still, and have already committed fraud, the rest of us who play by the rules are going to be all over them as the day light hits, and if politicians and judges think this voter fraud is going away because the media don’t and won’t report it, they’ve got another thing coming

The threat of violence here is real. I personally know people who are not showing McCain/Palin bumper stickers from fear of vandalism.

Add in the radical nature and screaming endorsements Obama gets from supporters, and the intimidation factor is evident.

But again, in the privacy of the voting booth it will be harder for many Democrats to pull the Obama lever. Strong Obama supporters refuse to consider or evaluate anything anti-Obama. It’s as though they are wearing blinders. It is truly amazing that they will not even consider the logic of their support, let alone real reasons to support Obama.

Heck, Democrats have convinced themselves that Obama will really give them a tax cut even though sane people realize this is never going to happen.

It make them mad, but I call each one of them a typical Democrat Kool-aid drinker. They don’t want to know the truth and they can’t handle the truth. IF Obama really does win, one great joy I have will be to be saying “I told you so” to many people, over and over.

MSNBC just ran the Øbama/Wright commercial, of course no one seen it but me.

I saw it one time last night during SNL on NBC in Cleveland.

Haven't seen it yet on cable.

I also think other groups that the Dims and the DBM assume are on board but aren't, such as women and Hispanics.

I expect / count on a huge "Sarah" effect. I don't think the media can see it, because they live in an isolated, insulated environment just like the politicians they cover.
