That said, Plouffe is nervous. First real nervousness that I’ve seen demonstrated by any BO operative.

One of the articles I pulled up on Plouffe yesterday said he rarely does interviews or shows like these. It didn't explain whether that was due to simple stage fright or because of a realization that he isn't someone who can hide his true feelings and stay on message. The segment is just starting here and Wallace opens by explaining that this is the first Sunday show for Plouffe and that he rarely does TV. Having said that he does strike me as someone who's not really believing what he's saying.

The good news is that America is not as enamored w/Obie as the mediots or the pollcats. This will be a big surprise come Tuesday.

I think the dems have decided to replace their hatred of GW with Sarah.

Too bad for them, she will kick their arse at every turn, they will wind up black and blue and excoriated by us every time they try it.

Sarah is completely different from GW. The only other cheek she will be turning is a bleeding or near dead DBM/rat or Dem who tried unsuccessfully to go up against her and got beat up bad too see if they want some more!!

One of the things that has bothered me about both Bush administrations is their decision not to fight back when attacked. I think it's a core family belief. Sarah Palin most definitely does not share that philosophy.

She will make a great Vice President and an even greater President in either 2012 or 2016. The trick, if she is in office in Washington for as much as the next 16 years, is to make sure she doesn't get captured by the town. It'll be up to us to help her keep her perspective.

I think Obama is leaking the details of his “inevitable victory” party to push the MEME that he has this in the bag.

On Nov. 4th the real question is how much will McCain fight any fraud?

Obama obviously has no respect for the voters or the process given his history of condoning voter fraud. He will take it to the USSC. The only question is whether the case will be Obama vs McCain or McCain vs Obama on the caption.

How many early voters have or will try and vote again?

folks we need to have ONE running thread on November 3 and 4 pre-election ground reports.

By having multiple vanity threads posted by trolls and others, we are being diluted. Essentially a divide and dilute campaign against the truth of Obama getting out.

I think it is the colin powell desk jockey backstabber school of thought.

They beltway insiders want to be frieds to everyone without any regard for truth or even HONEST compromise.

I hope we have a MASSIVE purge in the state department and the DOJ.

Too many comfortable government employees.

In the worst case, all our beloved conservative talk would immediately jump to satelitte where they would remain untouched, but Dems would take an UNBELIEVABLE amount of flak for their attempts.

I think it's as likely that they go to the internet. Look at Pajama's TV. Rush's advertisers would follow him to the internet. The downside to both satellite and the net is that there's currently no mechanism to sell targeted local ads, so the total revenue stream is less. I can't see a way to add local advertising to satellite radio. I can think of a lot of ways to do it with the internet.

Good morning everyone,

Here’s something I found from the 2004 elections and posted on another thread:

Here are the figures from 2004 as of Nov 1 - Electoral Vote Predictor: Kerry 298, Bush 231.

“Another bumper crop of polls, 47 in all. Five states changed since yesterday. A University of New Hampshire poll breaks the tie there and gives Kerry a 1% edge in New Hampshire 49% to 48%. According to Zogby, Kerry is also edging ahead in New Mexico, 51% to 48%.

Now come some controversial polls. Yesterday we had Kerry ahead in Ohio on the strength of a Gallup poll showing him 7% ahead there. Today we have a new Fox News/Opinion Dynamics poll showing Kerry 3% ahead there Please don’t send e-mail telling me what you think of Fox news. I’m pretty good at guessing, but I am trying very hard to be impartial. Tomorrow we’ll know. Similarly, in Wisconsin a Fox News/Opinion Dynamics poll shows Kerry’s 7% lead has vanished overnight and been replaced by Bush’s 3% lead. Again, PLEASE no e-mail about this. Instead, come back tomorrow for the post-mortem. If you don’t buy these numbers, add 30 to Kerry and subtract 30 from Bush to get Kerry 292, Bush 231.”

“Zogby has polled Bush’s job approval/disapproval rating in several states. This is often a key indicator of how an incumbent will do in his reelection campaign. An approval score substantially below 50% is indicates trouble ahead. Here are the approval/disapproval scores in some key states. Colorado 46%/54%, Florida 46%/53%, Iowa 45%/55%, Minnesota 43%/56%, New Mexico 47%/53%, Nevada 49%/51%, Ohio 43%/49%, Pennsylvania 445/55% and Wisconsin 45%/55%.”

They have the following:
NM - tied
CO - Barely Bush
VA - Barely Bush
MO - Weak Bush
WV - Weak Bush
OH - Barely Kerry
PA - Barely Kerry
FL - Barely Kerry
IA - Weak Kerry
ME - Weak Kerry

I am wondering if this is a tactic by Karl Rove believing that there maybe many Republicans maybe those who are conservative or maybe anti Iraq war that would not vote for Obama but may well stay at home and not vote.

This maybe his tactic to get them out and voting showing them that every vote is important.

LATE EDITION (CNN) : Wolfe Blitzer Bias

Blitzer “if you don’t want to hear a robo-call, don’t pick up the phone” [ wondering why Blitzer said that, thinking it strange he was almost talking in a whisper, like it was what he was thinking, and not meaning to say ]

Next segment is the robo-call that has Hillary saying all Øbama has to offer is a speech
