Yeah, in that case God can provide me a ticket to Malta. Because eating macaca will be the least of my worries when the new Obama “civilian security force” (read “Gestapo”) come for me.

I am in Toledo OH is does not get any more blue then here with few exceptions. If you look at the 2004 map I am in the blue spot at the top of OH. It is were OH meets MI and it is surrounded by red.

Not only is there a problem up here with the normal Democrats trusting BO he is going to be hit with a big Bradley effect on the Democrat side ( the libertarians and republicans) were never going to vote for him based on policy.

I am not even that worried about voter fraud at the poles. You need a photo ID and the poles have both a R and a D so either side can raise an objection to anything funny looking.

McCain will win OH by a bigger margin they W did. I only hope the McCain uses his veto pen.

Anger wasn't confined just to Republicans in 2006, though there was plenty there. Enough Republicans bitched and moaned publicly that it bled over into those who might have identified with the party, but weren't necessarily registered with the party. Those were the Independents who might have shown up another time, but chose not to participate in 2006.

And some folks DID stay home, rather than vote for a RINO who was running in their Congressional district, or for the Senate in their state.

No, I don’t think American men are chauvinistic on the whole, but I have seen and experienced my share of chauvinistic men in my 50+ years of life. But they are getting rarer and rarer in succeeding generations.

You are right that the extreme swing is fantasy like so much else in the polls that just doesn’t make sense and that differ drastically from one day to the next and from one pollster to the next.

There is no consistency. I agree they are crap.

I had to go to church so couldn’t keep searching. Did you find the thread about Lee County for which you were searching?

Any idea if this coal tape will make any dent at this late date since 39% have already voted?

Yep, and it’s good. In a county that went 21% for Bush, the Dems in early voting (walk ins) are up 1,700. There are 160,000 regular votes left to be cast on election day, and 75,000 (!!) outstanding absentee ballots-—again, from this red, red county. This translates to (if Dems vote O and Rs vote McCain, which we know will actually be slightly more to McCain’s favor) a 32,000 McCain vote from this county alone!

Sad... I live about 70 miles from New Orleans and I could tell you some Katrina stories told to me by some guardsman that were sent into that hellhole.

Four months ago, I too was a McCain hater. Called him McLame, Juan etc. Today I am so full of anger, outrage, fear and desperation Mac is my man. Palin was the entire reason for the change of heart. I’ve been to 2 of her rallies and would attend more if able. I’ve watched about 20 on line in PA, FL, OH etc. Keeps me sane.

I wouldn't say I hated McCain he was just my least favorite....I started changing my opinion when he did that forum at that church.

There were so many negatives out there about McCain and I've found over the months just about all of them were NOT true.

Then he picked Palin...boy, was that a brilliant pick by McCain. So brilliant I really have taken another look at him with completely different eyes. If he could pick someone like Palin...what other really smart moves is he capable of making?

Obama has been blasting commercials here in Arizona for well over a month. Papers said he just did a big buy for the weekend.

I don't see anything to worry about here. Went up to the mountain country of Arizona and did not see anything for 0bama. But did see a McCain presence. Spoke with a minister and he was gently persuading his flock to support Mc.

Yesterday we went to the GOTV phone banks and where we pounded out New Mexico phone numbers (so if Mc was in trouble in AZ we would have been working local numbers).

(Many 0bamabots picketing our phone banks but let them, we were making contact with voters, and not playing games. Even though the press was there, most camera crews came into the phone bank and showed us hard at work during the monkey business).

As a result of our work, we got tickets to the Tuesday night McCain festivities and praying it will be a victory celebration!

I think we need 36 hr FR ban on good and bad news until election night. We are going to either get complacent or desperate and neither emotion helps us.

Endless court challenges would be one more unAmerican act by a radical left wing antipatriot.

The hints at robbing 401K's to provide new "revenue streams" is of particular interest here. I, along with many, would gladly take the 10% penalty to keep MY earnings out of the hands of the government.

I won't pull it out until the 401K-robbing bill gets out of committee, but if Obama wins, I won't be putting any more IN.
