CHICAGO (Reuters Life!) – It wasn't quite a Halloween nightmare on Obama street, but journalists on Friday drew a rare flash of anger from the normally unflappable Democratic presidential nominee.
Barack Obama had taken a break from the campaign trail for a few hours of Halloween fun at home with his family four days before the election, but ended up visibly annoyed when news crews dogged their footsteps in their Chicago neighborhood.
"That's enough. You've got a shot. Leave us alone," Obama told reporters as he walked down the block with his 7-year-old daughter Sasha in her costume on the way to a party at a neighbor's home.
Obama, usually cool in public during a campaign that has turned him into the frontrunner for the White House, did not disguise his irritation when his surprise walk caused news photographers and camera crews to scramble for position on the sidewalk.
He grew especially testy when a Polish television cameraman tried to approach them.
"Come on guys, get back on the bus," he pleaded with journalists, many of whom had accompanied him from the airport to Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood.

He’s not taking her trick or treating, he’s walking her to a party up the street. As if we believe he is just out casually strolling minus the Secret Service three days before an election.

If the children were teens or boys I could see it because older kids, especially boys, like to mock evil, but I’ve noticed over decades of trick or treaters that most little girls like to look pretty and dress up like princesses. To have both girls dress like this is weirder still. Makes you wonder.
Trig must have done something pretty darn cute, he’s got Mommy and big sis entertained.

Actually, this is pretty short as far as campaign trails go. Only 2 months and back to normal for them. Either in DC or Alaska, either way it will be routine soon enough.

I mean I understand Piper wanting to be a Snow Princess, I had one Cinderella, one Goth Angel and one Zombie.
It’s supposed to ghouls, ghosts and goblins for some kids! Some are going to go the princess route no matter what, my youngest will. But my middle one will be as scary as I’ll let her get away with.
But to be honest, that outfit looks like someone picked up a dress and threw it on over her clothes and said “there, dressed up for Halloween”.
As rich as they are, no make up? Just a dress flung over clothes?
Obama (D-ACORN) ended up “spreading the wealth” from his daughters treat bag to those who didn’t bother to go out for trick or treats. Typical socialist.
Actually, researchers studying this found no cases prior to news articles warning of the possibility. After the warnings went out, many sickos used the idea and did it. This was documented in a professional journal article decades ago, but the actual start wasn't until less than fifty years ago.
And nearly all cases are hoaxes.

I can't imagine it's any fun being around Michelle after she's spent a day corking up her normal self in front of media.

I'm shocked parents buy those for their kids. Bu then, that's what hollywierd sells as well. Everywhere a 9 year old looks these days she see marketing telling her to dress and act slutty.

I guess I missed the part where the Governor drug a bus full of reporters with her to photograph “private” family time and casual strolls through then acted all shocked and offended when they did what they were brought there to do.
Yeah. Musta missed that.
