Our Pastor was by yesterday. He was talking about his brother who was a missionary in Venezuela at one time. He is in Ecuador now. But, they left Venezuela in the dark of night. Chavez said that ALL male babies born after a certain date would have Chavez's name on the birth certificate AS HIM LISTED AS THE FATHER OF THE CHILD! That was ALL children born in the country. NONE of the children would be allowed to leave the country. So, they were expecting a child, and they told their church they wanted to get out of there before the child was born. So the church told them there was a big meeting coming up, to use that as their excuse to be leaving for that meeting, pack heavy, take what you can, and get out. That is what they did. Now his brother is in a mountain area of Ecuador doing his mission work. So, good ole Chavez is daddy to all males born in that country. Sounds like North Korea.
